The Voice of God

Which One is Delusional?

Chapter 1

The voice of God Series

Which One is Delusional?

Are men delusional, who hear the voice of God? Or are men who do not hear the voice of God delusional?

“To hear or not to hear?”, that is the question. What is the answer?

Were men delusional who prophesied the Coming of the Messiah?–Who foretold history before it came to pass, 100’s of years beforehand?

When Daniel predicted the exact year that Jesus would be celebrated with Palm Branches and the Hallelujah’s of the people while entering into the City of Jerusalem–could he have done this by his own intelligence, his own powers to know the future? I think not. (Daniel 9:24-27)

Were these prophets and their prophecies guided by a higher, wiser, more perfect powerful Being known to us as God? Or did they eat too much Pizza, and get disturbed in their sleep?

These are questions we need to address critically, and decide: Who is telling the truth? Who is motivated by the Truth?

Who wants to bring freedom, and life to light in the society of men? And …  Who is putting forth a lie to deceive? Who is trying to cover the light with a blanket of darkness ,so that men remain in the dark?

Let us dig into this subject and gain some reliable, verifiable answers.

Which scenario takes more faith to believe? That God told his prophets the very year, he would proclaim the Acceptable Year of the LORD, on the day of His Visitation,  the very city he would be born in, the kind of house he would be born, the very family he would be born into, the very way he would be treated, the very need to escape his home for the danger of his life even as an infant, the return to another city, were he would be raised, and later rejected, for the very miracles that he would perform that would offend the very people he came to serve. The very treatment he would receive and the cause of his death, and the very things his enemies would accuse him of, and the very scoffing words they would speak even as he was dying–and all of this was recorded 100’s of years before the Messiah was born–with perfect accuracy, and unimaginable detail.

It is estimated that: There are over 365 prophecies, regarding Jesus first coming, and another 1,200+ prophecies detailing his second coming, which will complete the prophetic ministry laid down in the scriptures for all to see, read, know, and be in awe of.

But how did these scriptures ever get written? Where does their origin come from–if they do not come directly from the Voice of God, what can explain their source?

If a man has not chosen to prejudice himself against the word of God, all he has to do is read it, to answer the above question:

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:

but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 1:20-21 (KJV)
