Luke 4:4
The Bait & Switch Program Begins
The Bait & Switch Program begins subtly. It’s seems so innocent. No big deal. Just remove the main meaning of a text. It really doesn’t matter, Right? It’s still “mostly” the word of God, right? OR is IT?
In the following scene, Jesus is engaged in an eternal War, the outcome of which will determine whether you and I will be left in Hell forever, (if Jesus loses this battle), or the outcome (if Jesus wins this battle) will potentially lead to our invitation to Join Jesus in His Eternal Home, and to Live with Him, His Spirit & Father, All the Saints, Angels, and be in perfect unity with them ALL in Heavenly Intimacy for Eternity.
In Luke 4:4, Jesus is already at his weakest point physically in his entire life, after fasting 40 days and 40 nights in the desert.
Now, Jesus is being tempted to turn away from his relationship with God the father, (which would be death for Him, it would separate him from his holy and pure, obedient relationship with God the Father). To disobey God and break fellowship with the father, and instead join in fellowship with Satan: This would destroy the whole purpose of Jesus coming to the Earth, to become the Savior of All Mankind. Satan knew this and wanted to corrupt Jesus, by getting Jesus to follow his demonic plan (that would tempt him to enjoy temporary pleasure, at the cost of eternal suffering), rather than God’s Heavenly plan of enduring temporary suffering, for the price of Eternal Pleasures Forever More! (Satan knew his plan would condemn Jesus to an eternity with himself in hell. That where you and I would spend eternity if Jesus gave into Satan’s Scheme.)
Psalms 16:11 (KJV)
Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Thankfully, Jesus overcame the temptation to forsake everlasting eternal pleasure for temporary immediate gratification.
Of course, we can see that Satan is trying to insert himself into the life of Jesus, just as he has done into the life of every human being, born under the curse of Adam. Satan’s plan and goal is to get Jesus to follow him rather than to follow his father. And if Jesus did not have the word of God, burning in his heart, he would have no defense against this attack, that Satan is bringing to the table right here in Luke chapter 4.
But thankfully Luke, the precious and diligent student of Paul (the apostle), and a faithful student of the gospel, Luke diligently, and correctly records, the conflict, so that we understand just how Jesus destroyed the attack of the enemy, by using the very word of God, by living by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of God (SEE Matthew 4:4).
But wait, what if Jesus’s attack against Satan is erased from the word of God? How then can we know how to destroy Satan’s attack against us?
This begs the question: Why would Luke destroy the word of God, by removing the very most important point in this attack?
Is Jesus message to us really this: “Do not live by bread alone?” Is that where his message should end? Maybe we should eat some vegetables too. Is that his real message? That would be silly, wouldn’t it?
As we can see: Jesus uses this conflict in Luke 4:4 as the foundation for all of the attacks of Satan, tempting him (in Luke chapter 4), but “lo and behold” the modern Bible translations remove this very important and critical text from the word of God, so that we do not have the same message in our modern Bibles, as we do in the king James Bible.
The authorized version of the word of God tells us exactly how to deal with Satan’s attack by using every word of God: 1) By living by every word of God; 2) By obeying and trusting him in every word of God; 3) By walking out every word of God through obedient faith.
So why would God want to remove that very important teaching from his word?
My personal viewpoint: He definitely would not. That would be stupid. That would defeat the whole purpose of the message.
God is all about is using his word to teach his children about how to destroy the works and temptations of their number one enemy, Satan. Jesus came to destroy the devil works. And he also became our example to follow in his footsteps.
But when modern Bible translators and modern Bible translations remove the very example, Jesus came to give us: How can we destroy the devil’s works without the very word of God teaching us?
By removing the critical text, the modern Bible translators are not only diluting the word of God, they are attacking the word of God. In essence, they are nullifying the word of God. And no true follower, no true believer, and no true and faithful witness, following the example of Christ, living by the testimony of his word, would in any way choose to compromise the word of God. How could he?
If you knew the Authorized Version of God’s Word Clearly Stated that: “That man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word of God.” And then you made the decision to delete the second part of that verse, and you supported all those who did the same, and choose to delete that teaching from the Word of God–what does that tell us about your faith, about your relationship with the Word of God?
Sadly, I believe, those who have corrupted God’s Word, and continue to Corrupt God’s Word, will pay and deep and critical price for doing so. And what’s on the table? “Having their names removed from the Lamb’s Book of Life.” No big deal right? No. Not at all. That is if you don’t believe in the Book of Life to begin with. But if you do believe His Word: You could never lightly choose on your own authority to go against the very commandment of God, and delete any portion from the Word of God. That would be infinitely foolish, and wrong.
(how could any follower of God remove portions of God’s word, and then remain faithful to God, the father, and God, the son, and God, the Holy Spirit?)
Therefore, I believe, and openly declare something very dangerous is happening with the modern translators and modern translations that delete the very messages of God from the Bible.
If we are to become true students of God’s word, we must have a text that we can rely on. We must have a text that is faithful to the original. We must have a text that does not delete the very important Direct teachings of Christ from his word. If we have a compromised text, then how can we NOT have a compromised faith? If we are confused about the text, how can we not be confused about our faith? If we are divided over the text, how can we not be divided in our faith?
If I choose to live by a compromised text, after being confronted with the reality of the problem, I am no longer a victim of a lie, I become a perpetrator of a lie, because I choose not to condemn the lie, and come out of it, but choose to continue to walk in it, even though I have been clearly confronted by it.
Here lies the root of the problem.
We can know for certain from God’s word (if we choose to believe it), is that God is able to preserve his word.
Psalms 12:6-7 (KJV)
6 The words of the LORD are pure words:
- As silver tried in a furnace of earth,
- Purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD,
- Thou shalt preserve them
- From this generation for ever.
So here we have God’s testimony on this subject. God has promised to preserve his word.
But we know that not everything that claims to be God’s word, is God’s word.
We must be discerning. We know the devil is a liar. We know he has created counterfeit Christian churches, and counterfeit Christian teachings, and he has raised up counterfeit Christian teachers and pastors, and leaders all over the world.
Has a knot also raised up counterfeit Christian Bible translators, who have created counterfeit Christian Bible translations?
Of course he has.
But true disciples of Christ will have discernment about, those corrupted texts, if their have the original pure texts to compare them to. Then they can see if a Bible translator or translation has deleted the word of God when they study the subject carefully. Hence, the very reason for this writing right now.
The very first thing that Satan attacks in the scriptue is the word of God.
Genesis 3:1 (KJV) “Yea, hath God said …?”
And the very first thing that Jesus counter attacks in his ministry, is Satan’s attack against the word of God.
How convenient it would it be for Satan to delete that pesky little example of how to destroy him from the counterfeit Bible translations that he would most enjoy promoting?
Counterfeit
and destroys Satan’s attack is by the word of God. But in the story of Luke for four in the modern translations, this whole attack encounter attack is completely destroyed, because the whole point has been removed from the modern translations. That is all the translations of modern Bibles based on the English New Testament read text provided by Wescott and HORT.
Check this out: LUKE 4:4
King James Bible
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written,That man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word of God.
Now we can Compare the KJV to 20 other modern translations below: Can you see the subtle difference?
We need to answer the question: Which ones remove the “word of God” from “the Word of God”?
What better way to hinder our success at overcoming Satan’s warfare against us, then to remove the very essence of the warfare from the word of God. Now this would be a good time to ask the question: who wins when the words of God are deleted from his book? Does God win? Does the believer win? Or does the devil and his team win the answer should be pretty obvious. It’s the plan purpose of the devil to remove information from the word of God. It’s also his plan to add unauthorized information to the word of God.
That’s how you can easily tell if a book that came from God has been corrupted. All you have to do is compare it to the original text. If something has been added, or if something has been deleted, you have your answer the text has been corrupted. And should be discarded. Just like the Alexandria in texts. They were discarded because they were not valued, because they deleted from the word of God, both the advantage Canice, and the sin, Atticus Kodex or obviously corrupted, and therefore they went unused for centuries, true Bible readers, and followers disregarded these texts and did not value them. That is until some very questionable characters showed up and saw an opportunity to make a name for themselves. To make money for themselves. To create income for themselves. To gain a reputation for themselves. And once that motivation began, it just continued to grow and grow and grow. Until today, it’s a multi million dollar business worldwide. Publishing corrupted texts of the Bible and passing them off as more reliable and more ancient than the current text, which is faults and fraudulent on both charges. [this paragraph needs editing]
What better way to remove accountability from the Bible that you read, than to remove the very words of Jesus from the word of God, while he is instructing you to live by every word of God, not just spread alone. I removing the whole point of the verse, you remove accountability to the word of God, you remove the whole reason for the Bible verse to be written.
The following 20 modern translations remove the very purpose, the very reason, the very sword that cuts to the heart of the believer, dividing the joint from the marrow, the soul from the spirit, bringing revelation to the reader.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Now ask yourself the justification question:
How can modern Bible translators justify removing the word of from the word of God?
How can they justify removing the very verse in the Bible that keeps us accountable to the word of God?
How can they attack the word of God while claiming to reproduce the word of God?
Simple: they use the bait and switch program. First they cast out upon the word of God. Open “yay, has God said….?”
Then they produce a whole Nother text that doesn’t include the word of God in the word of God, and therefore they justify their deletion of the word of God by saying it’s not in the oldest and most reliable text? But by deleting God’s word from the text, they are making the very word they are claiming to be more reliable, unreliable.
Then Satan reproduces, hundreds of new translations that follow the same pattern. And then by share numbers, they overwhelm the market and overwhelmed the unsuspecting reader with faults information, and never disclose the facts behind the new translation that are highly irregular, highly damaging to the facts regarding the new translation.
With each new translation, there is more confusion, more division, more frustration, more dissatisfaction, doubt, and distrust in the word of God. Right now there are over 900 different modern English translations of the Bible. But we must ask the question which one of these translations is the authentic word of God, and which ones are the imposters?
