Here’s an organized list of New Testament: passages, verses, words, and phrases

Found in the King James Bible (KJV) but either omitted, footnoted, or bracketed in most modern English Bible translations (such as NIV, ESV, NASB, NLT, the amplified, the message, etc.). This is not an exhausted list, but it gives you a good sampling of the kind of scriptures that have been compromised in modern translations.

These omissions can involve a whole verse or passage, or just key phrases or words, often with little or no notification to the reader, and are organized here in the order found in the New Testament.

Matthew

Matthew 17:21
- Omitted: “Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”
- This verse is completely missing from the NIV, NASB, NLT, ESV, BSB (Berean Standard Bible), and is bracketed in many other translations.
  - This verse is a very poignant and instructional passage that Jesus uses to train his disciples in the ministry of deliverance (the casting out of Demons).
  - If I were the devil: I would not want to have this VERSE, and this instruction from Jesus passed on to disciples of future generations. Why? Because IT exposes a key and critical factor in the ministry of delivering common people from demonic oppression. It raises the bar on personal dedication and spiritual discipline through the work of fasting in prayer, and the need to stay close to Jesus is strongly emphasized. For apart from him, you can do nothing.
Matthew 18:11
- Omitted: “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.”
- This verse is completely missing from the NIV, NASB, NLT, ESV, BSB (Berean Standard Bible), and is bracketed in many other translations.
  - If I were the devil, I would not want this very simple and clear message to be proclaimed, and I would not want the disciples of Christ to know that this was the mission of Christ, and this was the mission handed down to the church, and to every single believer in the kingdom of God. Why? Because maybe then, possibly a large portion of the body of Christ would go out like the son of men to seek to save that which is lost.
Matthew 20:16 (second clause)
- Omitted: “…for many be called, but few chosen.”
  - Note: I’ve found Many Modern Translations contain this phrase.
Matthew 23:14
- Omitted: “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”wikipedia
- This verse is completely missing from the NIV, NASB, NLT, ESV, BSB (Berean Standard Bible), and is bracketed in many other translations.
  - This is a serious breach of trust. Jesus is teaching a critical message, and the modern translators choose not to expose the Pharisees as hypocrites. Why might that be? Might it have to do with the modern translator is not wanting to be recognized as hypocrites themselves? The Lord will be the judge.

Mark

Mark 6:11 (second sentence)
- Omitted: “Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”
- This verse portion is completely missing from the NIV, NASB, NLT, ESV, AMP, BSB (Berean Standard Bible), BLB, LSB, CSB,Holman Standard, and other translations.
  - The second part of this verse is omitted and not even footnoted in many Modern Translations. It doesn’t even dignify the Word of God with an explanation.
  - This is a pivotal and powerful point of teaching from the Messiah himself. The emphasis Jesus is making here couldn’t be more powerful and poignant. It will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for Sodom and Gomorrah, than for a city that has chosen to not be transformed by the message of the gospel, the salvation of men from the coming eternal judgment of God.
  - Also, please note: if I were the devil, and I knew, I had a plan of promoting homosexuality, transgender-ism, and all forms of sexual perversion in the last days, I would do everything in my power to remove every reference to Sodom and Gomorrah from the Bible. And that is exactly what these modern Bible translators are doing right here before our eyes.
Mark 7:16
- Omitted: “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.”
  - Either footnoted, bracketed, or deleted with no notification whatsoever.
  - This message puts the pressure on the one who is listening. It puts responsibility into the hands of the listener. This is a powerful key point of instruction that the devil would like to remove from your Bible.
Mark 9:44, 46
- Omitted: (Identical both times) “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”
- This deletion is generally foot noted.
  - What happens when you delete the repetition in this passage? ANSWER: the strength of the whole passage loses its biblical emphasis of repetition. Repeating the same phrase, three times over exactly the same creates a deafening expository pounding of the consequence of sin, magnifying the importance, and the attention to the reader to virtually base your whole life on this teaching. WHY? In order to save yourself from the consequences of sin. But this emphasis is attacked and is swept aside, when it’s only listed one time without the TRIPLE emphasis.
Mark 11:26
- Omitted: “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
  - Typically foot noted or bracketed.
Mark 15:28
- Omitted: “And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.”
  - Typically foot noted or bracketed.
Mark 16:9–20
- Not omitted, but bracketed or footnoted in many translations due to textual uncertainty.
  - This is an exceptionally Grevious deletion, omission, and devaluation of the word of God. Many essential doctrines, instructional, relational, and testimonial powerful points are included in this short, but powerful ending to the book, the Gospel of Mark.
  - According to modern Bible translators (and the liberal minded, anti-miracle, anti-faith, anti-supernatural working of God, who by their nature, hold a very low view of scripture), and many modern Bible scholars and teachers are happy to delete the final powerful testimony presented in the closing chapter of the book of Mark.
  - They translators are happy to finish the book of Mark with this final sentence:
    “Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.” That is how the NIV ends the book Mark. Can you see the triumphant victory of Christ in this final ending?

Luke

Luke 4:4

- Omitted phrase: “…but by every word of God.”
  - Now this is an exceptionally dark and deceptive translation. It removes the very power and purpose of the scripture. Jesus is using to teach not only disciples, but the entire world on how to defeat the devil during the season of temptation.
  - If I were the devil: I would not want anyone to know about the scripture, and about how Jesus uses it to defeat and destroy the work of the evil one on a personal level. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. When you remove the phrase, but by every word of God, you remove the power and the purpose of the verse. You make it a word salad, and meaningless. Her Jesus is setting up his entire following to be instructed on exactly how to destroy the kingdom of darkness and the work of the enemy in your own life on a personal level. It is by seeking, learning, obeying, and living out every word of God. That’s our protection from the enemy. That’s the sword in our hand. That’s the shield of faith. That’s the breast plate of righteousness. That’s the gospel that we shot our feet with. That’s the belt of truth that we are protected from sexual sin and covers the loins of our sacred bodies created for God’s glory. Remove this little phrase and you remove the very essence of the word of God in the life of the believer. This could not be a more egregious deception in the modern translations. And you will note that there is no notification. There is no footnote. There is no acknowledgment of this deletion. It simply refuses to print the very word of God in their translation.
  - Can you see the lack of accountability being demonstrated by modern Bible translators, modern theologian, modern Bible, teachers, modern pastoral leaders, who just all go along with the modern translations and never say anything negative about them. They’re all sucked into this mindset that all the scriptures are good enough. When in fact, all the scriptures have been manipulated. Have been devalued. Have been corrupted.
  - The whole reason the King James Bible was written was because there wasn’t a good translation written in the language of the common people. And that the catholic version of the Bible was corrupted, and also translated in a language that common and lowly uneducated people could not read nor understand.
  - But today we have thrown aside the good translation that comes from the sending missionary Church of Syrian Antioch, and replaced it with the Alexandria church that was filled with compromise, false doctrines, synchronism, where they would combine Greek philosophy with Christian scriptures and come up with numerous heretical teachings about Christ being a spirit and not a human being. From the Alexandria church ministries, we have the beginnings of the Catholic Church, mysticism, Arianism, schisms, and gnostic teachings, condemned by the early church, fathers, and condemned by the apostles, and spoken against even in the early stages of the writers of Paul and John, particularly
  - Yet modern translations are allowing by default these faults teachings to enter into the church by following the translations of Mary worshipers, and Catholic centered and doctrine trained, false believers.
Luke 4:8
- Omitted: “Get thee behind me, Satan.”
  - If I were the devil: I would definitely remove this rebuke from the word of God, wouldn’t you?
  - Again, here is another grevious deletion of the Word of God, from the Modern Bible Translations, with no footnote, no notification at all–just silently deleting the Word of God. If I were a Bible Translator, How could I live with my conscience? For secretly deleting the Word of God from the Bible?
Luke 9:55–56
- Omitted: “Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”
Luke 17:36
- Omitted: “Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
Luke 23:17

John 5:3b–4
- Omitted: “…waiting for the moving of the water. For an Angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.”
John 7:53–8:11
- The story of the woman taken in adultery is usually bracketed or footnoted—sometimes not included in the main text.
John 8:9
- Omitted phrase: “being convicted by their own conscience, went out.”
John 6:47
- Missing KJV phrase: “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” Modern (“He who believes has everlasting life.”)av1611

Acts 8:37

Acts 15:34
- Omitted: “Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.”
Acts 24:6–8
- Portions omitted: Verses 6 (partial), all of 7, and part of 8.
Acts 28:29

This is not an exhaustive list, but it represents the most well-known verses and notable examples where modern translations diverge from the KJV by omitting, bracketing, or footnoting content that appears in the KJV main text. In some cases, only part of a verse is left out; in others, entire verses are missing or relocated to the footnotes. Often, the omission is without any direct notification, as in the case of Luke 4:4.

Some concluding remarks:

If I were to choose to read a clearly and purposefully corrupted version of the Word of God,
over and above an uncorrupted Translation of the Word of God in my own language–what would that say about my concern about my own faith?

- What would that say about my own personal relationship with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit?
- What would that say about the strength of my reliability and faithfullness in my Church Fellowship?
- What would that say about my eligibility to serve effectively and efficiently in the Body of Christ??
- What would that say about my personal concern to live in a pure, holy, clean, powerful, authoritative, and compelling evangelical ministry in the Body of Christ?
To be honest: all of this areas are affected and infected by a compromised Gospel message, coming from a compromised Bible translation, that was produced by compromised faithless Bible Translators.
And all of this information has been covered up, lied about, and sidelined, and created smear campaigns, and produced all kinds of false evil accusations, in order to protect and preserve the great and vacuous secret information: That all the modern Translation Version based on the Alexandrian Manuscripts are corrupted. And the proof is plain and simple and bare, out in the open for anyone to read and compare the differences.
In other words: The Tree is known by its fruit.
A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit.
