The Lamb’s
Book of Life

Is there a warning in the Word of God, not to remove any word from the Testimon of God?

What is the controversy surrounding this subject?

Revelation 21:27 (KJV)

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,

  • neither whatsoever worketh abomination,

  • or maketh a lie:

but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Ok, God sets the stage clearly: Nothing unclean, that defileth, worketh abomination, or maketh a lie, shall enter into the Kingdom of God, either here, or in eternity. In other words, they will honor, and uphold the Word of God.

Here is a principle we need to be very careful not to ignore:

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Many people want to debate this scripture: Especially those who favor reading the corrupted Modern Bible Translations, that have been translated by men who clearly did not walk in “The Fear of the LORD”, and did not make HIS LORDSHIP, the first priority in their lives, and these decisions clearly can be seen in the character and the quality of the Translations they created.

But the Word of God is immovable, and the warning to remove any word from His Text, is clear. Some scholars claim this scripture only applies to the Book of the Prophecy of Revelation, but is not the whole New Testament a Testimony of the Prophecy of God, and Does not the whole Old Testament Establish, maintain, and proclaim the Prophetic Message of the Coming of the Messiah? So wouldn’t it be important to any True Bible Translator to be extremely careful, not to remove any text from the Word of God, in either the Old of New Covenant? Are not all the Words of God written for our edification, and none should be missing?

What about adding to the Word of God?
Is that ok to do?

Revelation 22:18 (KJV)

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book,

If any man shall add unto these things,

  • God shall add unto him the plagues
  • that are written in this book:

Pay Careful Attention here:

Mark 16:8-9 (NIV) 8 Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.

[The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have verses 9–20.]

9 When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.

Let me ask this question:

  • Is this a glorious, and triumphant way to conclude the Gospel of the Mark:

“They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.”

Is that the final message that Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and the Father wanted to convey to the Saints throughout all Eternity?

“They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.”

Does that sentence summarize and complete the whole Gospel narrative and give honor to the Word of God, and the purpose of the Church?

I think not: In fact, I firmly believe it dishonors God, dishonors His Word, dishonors his Mission, and goes completely against the whole message of the Gospel.

Therefore, I cannot fathom a Bible Translator, choosing to end the Gospel on Mark 16:8, not in my wildest dreams can I find this to be a satisfying and truthful, righteous ending to the Gospel of Mark, can you?

So how do modern Bible Translators justify there position?

They simply throw out a fake, and fraudulent quote, that is neither accurate nor true.

[The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have verses 9–20.]

If I were the Bible Translator supporting this final ending and completion of the Gospel of Mark, I would be seriously embraced by my workmanship.
