Marriage – A Hebrew Covenant

Here is the Covenant of Marriage Proposed …

“Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers
in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt;
which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:”

Jeremiah 31:32 (KJV)

In Context:

31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD,
“when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,

33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the LORD.

and write it on their hearts.

and they will be my people.
