The New England primer is a fantastic tool to begin training children in the basic principles and values, and background information that the Kingdom of God is based up. It introduces the main characters in the Testimony of God’s Word, even while teaching the basic alphabet:

It introduces the English Alphabet using vivid imagery from the Bible. It is written in King James English which is a helpful introduction the the King James Bible. And it presents a Protestant Pilgrim view of discipline that is not afraid of spanking and just punishment, to correct children who might try to choose to wander away from discipline and good judgment.

It has served to raise up more godly teenagers, young adults, parents, wives and husbands, than any other book beside the Bible and the Pilgrim’s Progress.

May it serve your family as it has served many more families before you.

Any student learning the literature presented in the New English Primer will be miles ahead of those spiritually who have been trained by secular materials that not only deny the Biblical Record by seek to undermine its grace and Truth and Authority in the minds and hearts of Children, seeking to replace the Wisdom and Instruction of the Lord with woke counter culture lies, that thoroughly confuse and deceive and defile the precious minds and hearts of our prized and most precious and valuable and vulnerable commodity, our children’s minds.

May this little book be a strong help and support to you as every parent and adult, big sister, and big brother can use it to deepen the faith in the heart and mind of the children in your sphere of influence.

Shalom,

BT

PS–A Note on

AGUR’S PRAYER.
REMOVE far from me vanity and lies
:
Give me neither poverty nor riches ;
feed me with food convenient for me ;
lest I be full, and deny thee, and say,
Who is the Lord?
or lest I be poor, and steal,
and take the name of my God in vain.

Please notice how taking the LORD’s Name in Vain is not just using the Lord’s Name as a cuss word.

We are called to bear the Name of the Lord with Honor, Dignity, Truth, Righteousness, Honesty, and more.

When we neglect our duties we inadvertently take the Name of the LORD in Vain, acting the fool, the thief, the perverse man, is also taking the name of the LORD in Vain, breaking the third of the 10 Commandments of God.

This was a sin punishable by death in the Old Testament.

Let us be careful to Honor the Lord in all of our Ways. So he can make our paths straight again.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Psalm 4:5,  Psalm 5:8; Proverbs 16:3; Isaiah 40:3; Jeremiah 42:3
