One Day… I will ‘Wake Up’
and Ask this Question:
Will what I do today
“Really Matter”?
Will Anything I Do Today ‘Really Matter?’
Will I seriously matter to Anyone Today? My Best Friend? My Family? My neighbor? My World? If I don’t seriously believe my life matters today, chances are—it probably won’t.
As such, I probably won’t act in any way that will make it matter either!
My own belief will become a self-fulfilling prophecy—that I don’t matter. If I get self-absorbed today, like I did yesterday, I know I won’t make a difference that will benefit a single soul out there. Can you relate to what I am saying?
Have you ever done something that brought a powerful positive permanent change that you know will benefit others for eternity?
Have you seen the hand of God deliver, heal, restore, or set free (yourself and others) from lies, bondage, addictions, suicide, psychosis, or some serious evil behavior? (Have you ever experienced the Gift of Repentance?)
Every time you do evil, you affect countless others. Every time you resist evil, you affect countless others–both seen and unseen.
When you have this treasure in your soul, you experience an inner Life no one can ever steal from you, ever. And the very fact that you have known this Life, makes you want to reach out and experience it over and over again. When you do your Life takes on a meaning that goes far beyond your self-absorbed vain ambitions. Can you relate to what I am saying?
Yes, you may have traveled far and wide. Experienced many pleasures, accomplished many goals, received many trophies, awards and accolades, had articles written about you, but what do they matter? … Especially when we begin to contemplate ETERNITY? (continue reading)
Though we all have our own lives, our own bodies, our own mind, we would do well to remind ourselves of these precious gems and jewels that bring us Light, Life, Strength, and Hope on a daily basis:
- I AM NOT AN ACCIDENT. (Genesis 1 & 2)
- I AM fearfully and wonderfully DESIGNED. (I know that full well!) (Psalm 139)
- God Himself made me and gave me my LIFE. (John Therefore …
- I AM a walking, talking, living, breathing MIRACLE OF GOD.
- I AM here for a short time for a DIVINELY INSPIRED PURPOSE!
And personally, I want to completely fulfill my heavenly orchestrated divine purpose before I leave this planet.
What’s the Difference between letting God’s Glorious Gems fall through your fingers, and Securing Them as Heavenly Sacred Treasure?
- Your Treasure can be: Stolen before you even know you have it. OR
- Your Treasure can be: A) Kept Safe, B) Build You Up, C) Supply You with every needed RESOURCE: Strength, Hope, Faith, Vision, Power, Grace and Truth (and Forgiveness) to overcome any obstacle that would hinder you on your way.
The Difference is Simple:
Do You Know Him?
When you know him: the One who cleansed the lepers and the demon possessed with a word. He made the lame walk, the blind see, and the deaf hear. He made the foolish wise, and the wise foolish. The proud he humbled, the humble he exalted. The poor he made rich, and the rich poor. The clever he confounded. The simple and faithful he made rulers–you know the One who created the World and everything in it, and he knows exactly how to fix it. When you know HIM, you know he begins to fix you and everyone around you that will walk in his light.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. ~ John 8:12 (KJV)
If you don’t know him, you won’t know his Path, his Resources, his Light, or his Life. In essence, as far as the kingdom of God is concerned, you will be without light, and lost in your way.
Please Note: This present Life (right now) is ‘Good’ in Many Ways (but it is not nearly as nearly as Good as it was meant to be).
- Why? Because God designed our world to be “Good” from “the Beginning,” but still there is so much evil, so much darkness, and so much destruction.
- Why? Because man, and the rulers of men, have turned their backs on the Ways of the God of Light & Life, and have turned over their hearts and minds to embrace the ways of Satan: to pursue greed, power, fame, fortune, and sinful wicked pleasure.
- Why? Because the (current/temporary ruler of this world) Satan offers men pleasures and addictions, that bring men into bondage and slavery, sin, and ultimate death—the Lake of Fire.
- Why? Because Satan hates all mankind and wants God to destroy them. So Satan tempts men to sin, as he himself has sinned, in order to set them up for the same judgment Satan will receive on the Day God Judges the World and everyone in it on the Day of Wrath.
As such men have filled the World with Evil. If you doubt this even for a second–just read the news for a minute. The evidence is beyond deniability. If you choose not to believe the obvious, then you literally choose to sit in the hot seat, possibly for eternity—something I would highly recommend you do not do.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be [exposed and] reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. ~John 3:18-21
Dear Friend,
Is this road easy? No. Is it narrow? Yes. Is it full of trials and tribulations? Yes. (But so is the wide road that leads to destruction!) There is no guarantee that you will be happy and enthusiastic every day of your journey, but if you know the One who is the Source of all Happiness—you can be off to a good start.
When you hold His Heavenly Gems in your heart, you set yourself up to walk in a POWERFUL LIFE full of Grace and Truth–receiving heavenly resources to meet your every need. This allows you to walk in the Light, where he resides. Know this: His life and light know no limits.
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” ~ 1 John 1:5-7 (KJV)
But …
When you let these gems fall through your fingers you become a victim of robbery, theft, lies, harm, fear, doubt, anxiety, confusion, depression, disillusion, and abuse. This allows the enemy to abuse you, and harm you, and rob you, and ultimately to Destroy YOU, stealing your eternal inheritance provided for you through the Blood Covenant of God.
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” ~ John 10:10 (KJV)
When you hold on to your gems even through all your trials, testings, temptations, and persecutions, you shall receive a reward that no man can offer you, and no man can take from you. Again, the difference between holding on and letting go is knowing HIM!
“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” ~ John 11:25-26 (KJV)
If you don’t know about Him, you won’t know about:
- Your eternal inheritance provided freely to you (forgiveness included)
- Your incredible rich heritage in God
- Your position of Honor & Glory the Enemy wants to Steal from you.
- Your destruction, the Enemy has deceitfully prepared for you
Before you completely let go of you Heavenly Gems–Please consider this: 1) The Time is Short! 2) Your days are numbered, 3) You have a short window of time to make a radical change, 4) The Darkness is coming when no man can work. 5) You can defeat your demons. 6) The Angels will help you. 7) It will be all worth the effort, when you see the eternal difference you have made in countless lives that were influenced by your word and your ways.
In other words, God has provided every tool you need to defeat your enemy, all you need to do is accept the tools, the gifts, the callings, and the wisdom, the laws, the freedom, the faith and the power that He will provide to anyone willing to learn from Him.
Remember: No man knows the exact day or hour that his life will end, nor when he will stand before God and give an accounting of every deed he has done, every word he has spoken, every lie he has proclaimed. Today is the day of Mercy. Tomorrow is the Day of Judgement.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. ~ Hebrews 9:27-28 (KJV)
