Relationships
Are Costly.

 

THE MORE YOU UNDERSTAND THEM: THE MORE WILLING YOU WILL BE TO PURSUE THEM.

They will cost you something to gain, and cost you something   more to maintain, but they are more precious than anything else in this world.

Looking forward, those who value genuine, true and faithful relationships, will hold fast to them, they will not let them slip away, so that they may enjoy those relationships for all of eternity.

Lasting relationships are permanent. They are the only treasure one can take out of this world, into the next world, into the kingdom to come. They truly are the most valuable treasures one can gain in this life.

 

Two Foundations on which to build any relationship 

1. The Shallow (or shaky) Foundation: Of Course, men and women can quickly generate artificial surface types of relationships based on selfish interests, as well as, passing fads and fancies. These relationships are generally based around personal hobbies, likes, dislikes, styles, recreation, competition, and entertainment. Some of these friendships may mature over time, but that is not generally the goal. These friendships are a dime a dozen.
              They are generally based on worldly values, and usually don’t have any deep commitments, or any deep character qualities (or even a proper mindset) in which to build a lasting relationship foundation. In my experience, these relationships often crumble at the first sign of trouble or distaste. They mainly revolve around “the good times”.
              These are the kinds of friends the Prodigal Son built for himself.  (Luke 15:11-32)  And everything went great until the beer, wine, food, money, and entertainment ran out. Fake Relationships based on this Shallow Foundation will not typically endure the Test of Time.  They will pass away, and be remembered no more.
    
2. The Solid (or Deep) Foundation:  Jesus told his disciples a parable about a man who dug deep, and built his home upon a Solid Rock, with a Deep Foundation. (Luke 6:48) He said when the winds blew, and the rain fell, and the rivers rose, and beat against that house, the structure stood the test of stress and time. It stood fast because it was founded upon a Rock.
                He also said, the man whose home was built on the sand (the shallow foundation) fell. And great was its fall. It all got washed away down the river along with the man.
               That man lost everything. While the man who built his Home (his life, his family, his community) upon the Rock, he kept everything he built upon the Rock, and didn’t lose anything worth keeping.

Relationships based on the Solid Foundation will endure the Test of Time.  These will not pass away. they will be remembered into eternity.

Of course, the above parable is more about a person’s life than about the building he lives in.

Two take away points:

1. Those who lack spiritual discernment, will lack the heavenly wisdom, care, and compassion to build their relationships on a firm foundation. They will ignorantly build their shallow foundation relationships based on selfish interests, that are doomed to fail, and will not stand the test of stress and time. As soon as “the good times” end, all the fair weather friends fly away with the wind.
    
2. Those who intentionally labor and put their full effort, and full attention, into digging a deep foundation, they secure their relationships on the Rock, (that is upon Christ Jesus). As such, they will never fail to have those deep and abiding, caring and compassionate, loving and loyal, genuine and enduring relationships. These kinds of relationships do not happen by accident. They are built with intention, with understanding, with commitment, with Truth, Hope, Faith, and Enduring Love. They are anything but shallow. And since they are based on the solid Rock that is Christ, they are eternal.

In times of trouble these relationships will deepen and prosper, and the fake and flimsy relationships will be weeded out. Weak, self-focused, worldly relationships won’t endure the test of time and stress, trials and tribulations, persecutions and natural disasters, social and economic calamities. Anything built upon a shallow foundation will fail when tested.

Luke 6:49 (KJV) 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth [or sand]; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

 

A true test of a true believer

A true test of a true believer could be this: Can he build truly valuable and eternal (lasting, real, genuine, faithful, humble and righteous, holy and pure, forgiving, enlarging {progressively growing}, just and true) heavenly relationships in Christ? 

If he cannot, that may be a true indicator, that his vessel (mind, body, soul, spirit) does not contain the Glory of God, the Power of God, nor the Life of God. If not, he would likely be a false convert, a weed amongst the wheat, a false representative of the Kingdom of God.

If such a person displays evidence of bigotry, racism, prejudice, pride and arrogance, jealousy, insecurity, malicious speaking (put downs, false and unsubstantiated accusations, slander, gossip, libel, dirty foul speech, taking God’s name in Vain), and if they are controlling and manipulative, vain, and excessively self focused,  and yet they claim to be a Christian, avoid such a person.

If you have communication with them: It is important to point out and inform them of the lack of genuine evidence of Salvation in their lives. Of course, you will be doing this for their own benefit, but most likely, any such word of correction, of suggestion of a need for a change, will be received like a hostile bullet to the head.
            The chances are good that you will not be well received, but if you love that person, you will not enable them or promote or allow their unbiblical conduct to continue, especially in your presence, you actually have a duty to God to correct and rebuke them. As they would have the same duty to God to correct you, if you began to slide down hill  in your own biblical conduct. That’s just what true brothers and sisters in Christ do. They lovingly correct one another in a spirit of humility, and out of love. That doesn’t mean they can’t be very bold about their correction.
           As stated earlier, sometimes people need to receive a strong hand to bring them into alignment with God’s Will, especially strong willed people. Subtle hints are not going to cut it with a strong willed person. You must be firm, direct, and to the point.

 

Ever lose a precious relationship?

Can you see how a lost relationship was not firmly based on a solid rock foundation?

A lost relationship was not skillfully designed to be deeply connected to an eternal source of power, love, soundness of mind, strength of emotion, and grace made strong through difficulties.

If there is no Blood Covenant holding the relationship together, sooner or later it is going to fail–that’s a given. Every relationship not built upon the sold rock will go the direction it was predicted and foretold that it would go. All relationships not founded upon and fastened to the Blood Covenant of God, will eventually perish.

If any relationship you had lost, was built upon the Blood Covenant of God, you would still be enjoying that relationship, to this day!

Even when a solid rock relationship comes under attack, and the storm hits it full force, it cannot overcome the rock solid foundation. That is unmovable. Anything not attached to it will be lost, and should be lost, but everything deeply rooted and grounded in love upon the solid rock will overcome every obstacle trial, and tribulation.

 

 

What or who is the Solid Rock?

Check out this prophecy from Daniel chapter 2:

Daniel 2:44-45 (KJV) 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone [who is Christ] was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. [I recommend reading the entire chapter and prophecy,, if you are not familiar with this story, it is well worth your time.]

 

 

Verbal Attack?

Like water off a duck’s back!

When you trust in God, you then can be like Daniel, being a person with an excellent spirit, being able to influence kings, rulers, officials, governors, princes, and knaves alike. 

When you love someone beyond their ability to love you back, you never need to fear their inabilities, or their  instabilities, or their deep insecurities, their verbal attacks, or their physical threats, because you know it is all in the Lord’s hands, because you are founded and secured upon the Solid Rock Foundation (which is Christ Jesus Himself).

You are never responsible as to how they treat you. Your only concern is that you represent the Kingdom of God to them with grace, love, and truth.

You are never called to enable or endorse false, fake, evil, compromised, or corrupt behavior. As a good friend you will be sensitive and use wisdom from above to speak the truth in love.  

You didn’t bring that person into the world, God did and they are responsible to listen to him. Your job is simply to point the way, with good reason, and Holy Spirit supernatural common sense.

You can’t teach others how to love you, if they don’t already know how to love God, and keep his commandments. If they don’t know how to love God, they won’t know how to love themselves, how could they possibly know how to love you?

When a man is spiritually dead in his trespasses and sins, he does not have the light of God to know how to Love according to God’s Definition, and do it according to God’s Way.

Ephesians 2:1-6 (KJV)
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

 

Loving those who don’t
know how to Love

This is a big part of a disciple’s life. It is the calling of every believer. It is the same calling for every human being. It is the duty of man to his maker. It is the gracious gift of life given to every man, but it is the most neglected, forgotten, and often rejected call of God on a man’s life.

Our job as disciple makers is to teach (unbelievers, and young believers) how to Love God and Keep His Commandments, first, by our own example, second by our disciplined plan of making disciples. The plan of salvation is not to difficult to understand, comprehend, live and share. We begin by:

1. By confessing our sins,
2. By forsaking our sins,
3. By seeking God’s Forgiveness,
4. By leaving our life of sin forever, by repenting of our sins (immediately, permanently, and completely), and deciding to never return to our sins, 
5. By obeying the commandment to be baptized in Water (to die to self and live for Christ)
6. By freely receiving the privileged invitation to be Baptized in the Holy Spirit.
7. By making restitution to anyone whom we have robbed, lied to, cheated, spoken ill of, or harmed in any way.
8. By becoming a fully trained, fully functioning disciple in the Body of Christ, (able to make disciples who make disciples) willing to obey God, whenever, however, and wherever he may choose.

By studying God’s commandments and doing them everyday, every believer will become a fruitful worker in the Vineyard of the Lord.

 

 

Obeying God’s Commandments:
Takes personal discipline, and a life of heavenly order

If a man hasn’t been taught by God, how to love God, or how to love himself, it’s a pretty big stretch for him to learn how to love his neighbor, and downright impossible to learn how to love his enemies.

When a man puts himself on the path of destruction (the broad or wide road), in the spiritual realm, he actually hates himself, hates the life God has given him, and is in the process of destroying it, and also setting himself up for his own eternal destruction.

To turn this boat around, is no small thing. In fact, it is the greatest miracle the Word of God proclaims.

The greatest victory a man can have in this life, is to experience the salvation of his own soul. The second greatest victory a man can experience in this life is to experience the salvation of another man’s soul while ministering the commandments and the Word of God to him.

Nothing compares to these two great miraculous events.

But these events don’t happen in a vacuum. 

Romans 10:8-17 (KJV)
The word is nigh [near] thee [thee = “you” singular], even in thy mouth, and in thy heart [thy = your singular]: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias [Isaiah] saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

As you can see there is great preparation necessary before the kingdom of God can come into an individual’s life, or into the life of a community. There is great to discipline needed. There is the great need to exercise great faith. But if you trust in God and obey his commandments, all this will come in due time.

But if  we don’t love ourselves, we will not even have enough discipline, or even enough attention span, to even listen to the Word of God. Think about that for a minute: Lack of discipline and lack of love are heavily linked one to the other. These create a heavy lack of heavenly reality in our lives.

When we don’t love ourselves according to God’s Definition, we won’t love others, and we won’t care about sharing His Message of Life and Light with those around us who are living in death and darkness. (In fact, we won’t even see the need for it, because we will be blinded ourselves.)

Side Note: And just going to church doesn’t fix this. In fact, it often compounds and contributes to the problem, depending on the level of hypocrisy that is active in the church, from the top down to the bottom up. What is the power of the message that the people gather around? Is it  fake, or is it real? Has the pastor and the body died to self? Are they living for Christ? Are they trained to be obedient to listen to, and obey the Holy Spirit? Is Christ the Head of their Church? Is the Body functioning as the Body of Christ, sacrificing time, materials, and resources to help build up every single individual person in the Body? Are they saved from Sin? Darkness? Evil? and Self?  Lust? Greed? Licentiousness? Lasciviousness? The Worship of Mammon? (Have they fully repented of their sin?) Are they being built into a glorious Temple, House of God, where God dwells and walks among them? Are they  being trained to become doers of God’s Word, and not just hearers only, not having their ears tickled every Sunday by the cunning of men? (without producing any significant change in the individuals coming?)  spiritual and power of the message and the faith of the people who gather.

When we don’t love ourselves, we won’t train our children or expend our blessed energy to reach the next generation.

One thing is for certain. It takes discipline to Love God. It takes godly discipline to love ourselves, it takes great strength, and great discipline to love others, to love our children, the way God has called us, and God is willing to train us, if only we would listen to him, and obey his word.

Notice above that a man will not hear God’s Message unless that man chooses to discipline himself, and study himself to be approved, in the word of God, and then to take God’s Message seriously and apply it directly to his own life diligently, and then he will be able to share God’s Word with those who need it the most (and probably want to hear it the least.) All of this takes discipline. (And it doesn’t happen all by itself in a vacuum. It takes time, effort and dedication.)

But the reward of seeing the Salvation of God come into the Soul and into Life of even one individual, and seeing them saved for all of eternity, that is worth an entire lifetime of discipline and heavenly order.

Then to disciple one believer so that they can then become a fully confident, fully trained, fully functioning Child of the King, and a full fledged member of the Body of Christ, that also takes discipline and preparation. That also takes time and planning. That also takes heavenly order, and divine assistance.

 

 

Heavenly Obedience brings
Worldly (and Hellish) Retaliation

And in the midst of all this blessing of salvation, there will most certainly be retaliation.

The Enemy of God does not kindly take to his Kingdom being robbed and plundered of his former excellent servants in his house. And he will do all he can to retrieve and return his former servants to his house. And he has the resources, and the strong temptations, and the carnal flesh and pride of men on his side. And he can muster a whole army to come against the one being saved, and the one ministering the salvation of God through the Word of Christ. And it takes strong discipline and strong fortitude to come against all the attacks that will come against the new believer and his mentor(s).

You can see this attack in real time, in the Book of Acts, where Paul and Barnabas preached in Greek cities across Asia Minor. The enemy stirred up whole towns and city officials to lie about them, to riot against them, to threaten them, punish them, and come close to killing them over and over again. These people were only doing what comes natural to the servants of the evil one, who himself is a liar, a thief, and a murderer from the beginning.

Therefore, every believer and every disciple must be armed and prepared for the counter attack, for it is sure to come. And the counter attack will often be very sneaky, very conniving, very controlling, very manipulative, and very easy to cave into. The new believer will suffer temptations from within, and tribulations, and distractions, and destructions being threatened from without.

But the true disciple, founded on the Solid Rock of Christ, who daily feeds himself on the Word of God, and keeps the commandments of God, listening to and following the True One and Only Holy Spirit of God, he will overcome every attack and evil work pitted against him, if he remains disciplined, and pierced, and broken, and humble before the LORD his God.

 

 

We must become wise builders,
building everything on an eternal, unshakable, immovable foundation

To be perfectly honest, plenty of garbage, fake spiritual bunnyhop trails, humanistic secular non-sense, is often and regularly taught in many modern churches across the board. False Doctrines, making False Converts, and producing no true salvation upon a solid a Rock eternal foundation, are a dime a dozen.

We are called to literally bear witness to the One and Only True image and likeness of Christ by our pure motives, our pure words, and our pure actions, and our daily obedience to His Commandments that will even speak louder than words.

In this life, our only true and wise work, study and duty is to build our relationships on a solid rock foundation: one brick, one stone, one timber, one beam at a time. And over time all our efforts will eventually turn into a glorious building, if we keep on abiding in Christ.

1 Peter 2:1-5 (KJV)
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, 2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Eventually, everyone who was meant to share your house with you will do so with joy and gladness, if they too have built their homes on a solid foundation in Christ.

When you truly trust in Him, God can use all circumstances both good and evil to draw his children into his divine plans, purposes, and promises.

When you allow him to work all around you, you will become a center of heavenly blessings. (Not of gold, silver, jewelry, ghastly and gaudy clothing, not of cars, houses, and things, but of precious and eternal, holy and pure relationships in Christ. These are your true kingdom treasures, though you be the poorest soul in your city, if you have these, you will be the richest!

If you have all the richest wealth and properties in your city, and you have not the true treasure of heaven, you are then the poorest soul in your city.

James 2:5-7 (KJV)
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world  [to be] rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? 7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

Yes, the rich, the proud, those educated in human man-made lies, the ignorant: they all blaspheme the Holy Name, so how can you build on an eternal foundation with any such person, possessing any such spirit? Unless they repent, everything they have, and everything they have worked so hard to get, will be lost and destroyed in an instant, and they will have nothing.

Their great money, their great professional education degrees, their great influence, their great philosophies, their great sins and bondages, they will all be overthrown in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye.

My friend, let’s face it. You can’t build any true eternal relationship with another person who is engrossed in the World.

1 John 2:15-17 (KJV)
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Not until such a one, who loves the world, repents and is delivered from such a foul (fowl, demonic) spiritual influence over their lives, can you ever hope to build a lasting and in any way meaningful relationship with a worldly man.

Thankfully, I may have faith, hope, and love for such a person.

You could be the one person standing between them and an eternity in the lake of fire. So be diligent, make the most of every opportunity, fear not what man can do. Be disciplined in everything you say and do. Represent our saviour well. What man can say, what man can threaten, what harm can man do? You have a higher Savior, and He will lead you through impossible places.

 

What is commonly left untaught in Modern Churches?

1. Evangelism.
2. Discipleship.

The Work of the Church is simple. It is the Great Commission given by Christ Himself before leaving the Earth.

1. Go and Preach the Gospel
2. Make Disciples.
3. Teaching them to obey all I have commanded you.

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them [that’s water baptism] in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe [to obey] all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway[s], even unto the end of the world. Amen.

If we do God’s Work, he promises to be with us, help us, empower us, and never leave us, but if we leave him, that’s another matter.

The True Church of God was created by God to be a true self reproducing Living Body, a Living Organism, a Heavenly Family, a literal fighting army, on a rescue mission. If that is not front and center in the minds and hearts of everyone in your Church, chances are you going to a business, not a family. Going to a social club, not a spiritual military training base. If you are not going to a place to be equipped and sent out, to perform the mandated rescue missions ordained by the King and Kingdom of Heaven, what are you doing there?

The Plan of God for the Church abiding in the Holy Spirit is simple:

1. Preach the Gospel
2. Make Disciples
3. Raise up Leaders
4. Send out Missionaries

If your church is not making the Plan of God the highest priority in the Work of the Church, how can your church be following the King of Heaven?

Side note: Many churches just want to be happy, be comfy, be relaxed, be nice, don’t upset anyone, don’t ruffle any feathers, don’t challenge the Body to exercise its divine muscles. It seemingly wants to stay weak, stay complacent, to be passive, to live in compromise, but this is not a church that brings glory, honor, praise to God, nor healing to his world.

The Work of the Church is to make disciples, that make disciples, that make disciples, that make disciples. Has your church confidently and competently raised you up to be a man or woman who can be powerfully used by the Holy Spirit, trained in the Word of God, able to forever change the course of History, by effectively Preaching the Gospel, and Making Disciples, and Raising up Leaders, and sending out Missionaries (to start a new work), just as Christ has called your Church to be a Light to the World?

 

Are Your friendships under attack?

The truth be told, all relationships are under attack. Whether faddish or more enduring. The spirit of division is constantly stirring up reasons and causes to divide even the most conscientious and careful individuals.

Those who see this can and will prepare themselves:

They will not give up, not give in, not let go. They will not falter in times of duress. They may slip up, but they will not fall (beyond remedy). They will be faithful to apply the Whole Word of God to every relationship that they have. In the end, they will win all those ordained to become a part of their Sacred Covenant Family of Love.

 

How to make permanent Bonds of Love?

Our job is to form true permanent bonds that will endure throughout eternity.

Those who cannot see this will just blindly stumble over themselves and others as they try to move forward in this life. They will not know the reason why everything is really not making any sense, in the life they are living.

People often feel something is wrong, but most likely they will try to blame someone else or something else other than themselves for producing the problems they keep falling into.

Many will not know how to to build permanent bonds of enduring love. And many more will not see the reason for it.

 

 

How does one build eternal relationships?

If you understand: You are an eternal Child of the Father, an eternal brother (or sister) to the Son, and an Eternal Friend of the Spirit of God, who lives in you, and empowers your Life to do the Will of God, then you will understand this, without it even it being said.

“Every person you meet
is a potential eternal family member.”

That is why Jesus commanded his followers, (his disciplined students, a.k.a. his holy children) to:

1 . Love thy neighbour as thyself.
(Matthew 22:39)

Jesus even went further than that, he commanded we should:

 2 .  Love our enemies.
(Matthew 5:43-48)

 

Commandments not suggestions

Mark this down:

• The Commandments of Jesus are not suggestions. They are in fact, and in deed, binding commandments.They are:1) to be obeyed (so one can become an active functioning member of the Body of Christ, a Living Stone, if you will, being built into a Holy Temple);  or 2) to be rejected (thus ending your participation as an active living member in the Body of Christ, ending your covenant commitment to the King of Kings).
• There is no middle ground of preference.
  When it comes to the commandments of Jesus, you are either all in, or all out. (When we try to be lukewarm, he says we will be spit out of his mouth.)

Those who try to be half in and half out, riding the fence of complacency, or the fence of compromise: They are going to damage their family jewels.

In other words, they will most likely lead themselves and their families into a spirit of hypocrisy and false spirituality. They will become Lukewarm. They will become double-minded. They will compromise both their beliefs and their practices. They will lack conviction when it really matters. They will dabble in sin. Dabble in Lust. Dabble in evil and complacent making entertainment. They will follow the worldly trends and sports. They will become spiritual chameleons, switching colors, and adapting to what spiritual climate they see appropriate. They will bend with the wind, and become like waves in the sea, tossed to and fro, with every new wind of faddish teaching, and fake religious enterprise.

The bottomline will become Swiss cheese, full of holes, that lets any and every kind of thought, feeling, hobby, or addictive habit  into their lives to replace the powerful, focused, disciplined work of salvation from taking place in their lives and in the lives of those around them.

Am I going to obey Jesus’ commandment? Even when it is uncomfortable? Inconvenient? Even when it is down right dangerous? Will I risk becoming a doer of God’s Word no matter what the cost, not matter what the sacrifice? Or will I just remain a hearer of the Word only?

“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven … Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” [This teaching, along with others, clearly sets Jesus apart from all other religions.]

Wow, did you get that? Jesus sets the bar high. Does anyone ever set the bar as High as Jesus? Be ye perfect as your Father is heaven is Perfect.  Love your enemies. Do good to those who harm you. Bless those who curse you.

Lend to those who cannot pay you back. Feed those who cannot reciprocate your kindness. Lay down your life for your friend. Pick up your Cross and Follow Jesus. 

No man ever spoke and acted  like this before.
But Jesus backs up every word he speaks with the perfect life he lives.

No one ever put forth such a challenge, and even a commandment, because no one until Jesus lived up to the standard by which He spoke.

 

How does someone ever live up to Jesus’ Standards?

Jesus was the Living Word of God in daily actions, disciplines, thoughts, words, and deeds. He let nothing into his spirit or his flesh that was not clean and pure before God.

When we meditate on and seek to emulate the Son of God’s Word, our thinking gets changed, and our lives become transformed as a result. 

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Do I not destroy my enemy, when I make him my friend?“

Lincoln got this principle from reading God’s Word, and seeking its core meaning in Matthew 5:43. He spent time meditating upon the reasonings of God.

 

What happens when God changes our thinking, and what happens when he doesn’t?

God changes our thinking when we read His Word. Our changed thinking affects our doing. Our changed doing affects ourselves and everyone we will meet, both consciously, and  unconsciously, even subconsciously from one degree to another.

When God’s word doesn’t change our thinking, it will not change our behavior, and we will become hypocrites, speaking and believing one way, but practicing and doing another.

 

Two kinds of leaven

Matthew 13:33-36 (KJV) 33 Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: 35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. 36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

As you can see, the leaven of Jesus was faithfully poured into his disciples lives. They all had opened hearts, because they have been pierced and already broken by the word of God, all except one. So by the spirit of God Jesus made one holy and pure and righteous and powerful heavenly lump of dough, that went on to leaven millions of other believers.

But there is another kind of leaven. It is also leavening millions if not billions of believers.

Matthew 16:6-12 (KJV)
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

 

Jesus’ doctrine teaches what is normally humanly impossible to do. In fact, Jesus commands us to do the humanly impossible thing on a daily basis, but he also gives us the resources to do what He has commanded. 

1. He has forgiven us of all our sin, so we are no longer debtor to sin. Sin no longer has any power over us.
2. He has given us his righteousness through Holy Spirit, this has made us new creations in the kingdom of God.
3. He has put us in a new family that is already doing the humanly impossible thing on a daily basis (if it is not a hypocrite church, just mouthing but not doing his Word).
4. He puts individuals (mentors) in our lives who invest themselves in us to bring forth the full fruit of heaven’s kingdom, teaching us how to become disciples, and also how to make disciples in the image of Almighty God.

These resources enable us to do the impossible on a daily basis. In fact, we are no long our own person. We were bought with a price. Although we were slaves to sin and selfishness, now we are slaves to righteousness and the glory of God.

If I don’t have this understanding in my heart and mind, as well as wrapped around my soul and strength, the next time I am tempted to hate my neighbor, or curse those who have just cursed me, or do harm to him, who just harmed me, or to hate him who has harmed my family, or my business, or my good name, or when I am tempted to lie about someone whom I don’t like who has lied about me, or to gossip about them, or slander them, without God’s Resources fully activated and fully operating in my life, I will surely break God’s Commandments.

And When I break his commandments without repentance, then these broken commandments will break me. When I make excuses, or fabricate self justifications over and above the Law and Commandments of God, I become a hypocrite, and a wicked witness to the Word of God and the Kingdom of God.

… when I do any of these things I break my fellowship with God and His Word, His Kingdom, and His Life. OH my!

Is this a problem? Yes. Many, many, many souls are being led astray by the spirit and teaching of hypocrisy. You can call it humanistic secularism. You can call it the Christian liberalism to sin, you can call it by many other names but it is not the Gospel, and it diminishes the word of God, the Kingdom of God, the power of God and the Life of every compromised believer.

 

I can only serve One of Two Masters:

 
No man can serve two masters:
for either he will hate the one,
and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one,
and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and Mammon.
Matthew 6:24 (KJV)

When I run after Mammon (money, success, prosperity, popularity, materialism, keeping up with the Jones’s), I begin to forfeit my inheritance in Heaven, and trade it for worldly wealth and worldly values of worldly success, based on, worldly relationships that are all going to perish in the fire, if they continue in their worldly ways.

As a result, I am in fact storing up my treasures on earth where robbers, rust, and rot will corrupt my stuff.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil,
thy whole body shall be
full of darkness.
Matthew 6:19-23 

Make a Note:  When you serve Mammon you are serving a Ruler, a Master, a Lord. Most of Western Civilization is enamored with Mammon. They worship him daily, hourly, minute to minute, in fashion, in the Stock Market, in fads, in toys, in gadgets, in cars, clothes, houses, in sales, in discounts, in credit cards. Why do you think they call them Black Fridays.

The take away point: Many are serving Mammon, and not God (and not even knowing the difference) even inside the Church, because they have such a shallow grasp of the Word of God, and because they are so heavily linked to the world. As a result, they become slaves to the one whom they will obey. That is one reason why so many bear so little of the image of Christ in their lives, and also why so few are changing and transforming the World by the Gospel of God.

If any man serves Mammon, he cannot build his relationships on Eternal Foundations. In fact, everything that Mammon buys and sells is based on temporal, fake, surface, selfish, and most often sin filled relationships. Being a slave to these bars a man from entering into the Kingdom of Heaven.

This often is the case: The man, his parents, his children, his friends, and the majority of his relationships are all about getting temporary pleasure, temporary carnal enjoyment here and now. Pleasure that is temporal lasts for a moment and then disappear like a vapor, and is often addictive.

The sad part: they can’t take their lifestyle, their friends, their family, or any of their toys (that they have toiled all their lives to collect) to heaven. So they have been given the idea (from the depths of Hell), that they are going to party hardy in Hell. “Yeah! Hoo-Rah!” Where all their friends are going to be. They are in for a big surprise.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a big party in hell forever and ever? Having fun forever? Bt the truth is: It is going to be hard to party in the Lake of Fire and burning Sulfur, where the worm never dies, and the fire is never put out–for eternity. There will be such intense pain and suffering that people will resemble worms in a fire, that would wish to die, but can’t. There will be weeping, gnashing of teeth, and full recognition that every person in hell, could have accepted God’s gracious gift of Life, but willingly, defiantly, ignorantly, and rebelliously chose to reject His offer to come into his family, and abide in His Holy Habitation forever.

The choice remains: Life in Heaven or Death in Hell (or more accurately, The Lake of Fire). This is the second death. 

The first death is inconsequential, everybody dies the first death, but only special people get to experience the second death, which is reserved for those who have spurned the Holy One of Heaven, and served Mammon all their lives.

it is important to choose whom you want to serve forever, and then to gather friends and family to go with you, and not be deceived, nor dissuaded by the deceitfulness of riches that may last for a season, but then they will perish.

According to God’s Word, we are responsible to those around us who do not know the Word of God, to help them to understand the heavy decision that one makes to spurn God’s Heavenly Invitation.

Everyone of us is called to be fruitful laborer, and a fruitful vine branch bearing much fruit in God’s Kingdom.

If we choose to serve Mammon over God, we will become a fruitless vine, and a sluggard in the great harvest of souls. We will sleep right through the greatest harvest time in History, because we were deceived by the deceitfulness of riches:

Yet hath he not root in himself,
but dureth for a while:
for when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the word, by and by he is offended.
He also that received seed among the thorns
is he that heareth the word;
and the care of this world,
and the deceitfulness of riches,
choke the word,
and he becometh unfruitful.
Matthew 13:21-22 (KJV)

Be sure of this: Mammon is a Powerful and Deceptive Enemy Lord. It is easy to get caught in His Net.

Did you know?

You can easily go to Church and still serve Mammon. He doesn’t care if you are in a church, as long as you lust after his stuff, he will keep you ineffective in your faith and obedience to God. He will keep you double minded.

A double minded man
is unstable in all his ways.
 For let not that man
think that he shall receive
any thing of the Lord.
James 1:8-7

Again, no man can serve two masters.

 

How do I know this to be true?

Because in the process of grasping after success and wealth, I predictably transgressed many lines of sin, selfishness, covetousness, idolatry (the worship of things and idols over and above God and His Kingdom), and have engaged in witchcraft (which includes trying to control, manipulate, and tempt people into doing what you want them to do).

And, yes. I made excuses for every selfish pursuit. I justified every wrong and carnal (worldly, deceitfulness of riches) lie and deception. It was not until my heart was pierced by the sharp blade of heaven, that I ever began to understand my ways, and what I was actually doing to myself and others.

It wasn’t until I rejected modern religion and modern religious thought that is prevalent in churches that are full of false converts, that my spirit began to latch on to the Kingdom of God in Earnest, and without idolatry. This is a huge step that I believe is vital to the life and soul of every follower of Christ Jesus, in Spirit and in Truth.

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

God’s thoughts are Higher than man’s thoughts:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10 For as the rain cometh down,
and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither,
but watereth the earth,
and maketh it bring forth and bud,
that it may give seed to the sower,
and bread to the eater:

11 So shall my word be
that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Make a Note: The viewpoint of God is not natural to man, not since the fall. Today, to gain the viewpoint of God there must be a transformation in the heart of the man to believe God, over and above his natural worldly corrupted thinking.

This should be easy to understand, and grasp by every person who can see that we don’t live in the presence of God any more.

… Not since Adam and Eve chose to disregard and reject God’s Word, and to embrace, regard, honor, and receive Satan’s Word above God’s Word, thus obeying Satan, above God.

That is why we no longer naturally think the thoughts of God. In fact, we must receive a new spirit and a new heart in order to think the thoughts of God, and walk in the ways of God.

A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh,
and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments,
and do them.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 

The message is pretty clear and simple to the enlightened mind, but it is beyond impossible to grasp by the darkened mind.

The above message of God to His people is a supernatural work that God promises to do. And He can do it easily. But he refuses to do it with an unwilling heart. God could easily force men to do his will, every day, every hour of the day, but that has never been God’s Plan. He could have made us robots, but He created us to be independent grace filled beings.

If God wanted robots he could have made them, but God wanted Sons and Daughters, who would choose to freely love Him and Know Him, and serve Him in His Heavenly Family finding their places as heirs of His Kingdom, His Power, His Glory, His Might and HIs Love.

 

Without God’s help we cannot serve, love, or know Him

If we are not transformed in our thoughts and ways, when tempted to do evil, to harm God, or harm his children in any way, we will likely cave into the temptation, unless there is great help from God to protect us. Unless we have chosen to pierce our own hearts to be able to become broken and to receive the heavenly seed, to become new creatures in Christ.

 

Caving into Evil

Three Men tempted to do Evil–who should have known better

We will look at these three examples  more closely further on, but to introduce you to how we so easily give into Sin and Evil, these can provide a little insight  on why you might cave into evil temptations. These are men who are the poster children for caving into Evil.

These 3 men who should have known better. They have no excuse for not knowing the Truth and the Right way of God. They walked and lived with people who knew God Directly.

They so radically chose to hate God, hate His Ways, they willingly chose to follow Satan, (when they could have chosen to Love God and Love their Neighbor as themselves) even after being soundly warned against the evil of doing so.

They were tempted to:

1. lust and rape (Amnon, one of King David’s sons),
2. be greedy and betray (Judas Iscariot),
3. be jealous, hate and murder (Cain, Adam’s first born son).

We will discuss their evil folly and deadly falls later.

 

Official Religious People Tempted to Sin–who should have known better

When someone is a religious person, but doesn’t operate by the blessing of the Holy Spirit, but is led by the teachings of men, that person will likely be influenced by the men and leaders around him, and the demons in their midst. As such, that man will be susceptible to walking in the same failures in holy relationships as these men below:

Walking in selfishness and contempt–like the Saduccees, Walking in pride and hypocrisy–like the Pharisees,
Walking in evil judgement–like Annas & Caiaphas,
Walking in manipulation & control--like the crowds crying:

“Crucify Him!” “Crucify Him!”

All these people working in cooperation and coordination with Satan and the Kingdom of Darkness, fully accomplished their stated goal: To Kill God’s One and Only Son. Just like they killed the prophets who spoke on God’s behalf before him. (See: the Parable of the Tenants: Matthew 21:33-46; Mark 12:1-12; Luke 20:9-19)

 

 

Natural vs Supernatural Living

If we are not truly Walking in unison with the Spirit of God, we will simple be out of step with His Conviction, His Power, His Love, and His Direction. As such we will not be able to see and live through His ultimate Lens of Forgiveness and Truth. 

Try living in forgiveness & truth without Holy Spirit Power and Grace … it will be a continual losing battle 😩. (If you have tried it. You know what I am talking about.)

It is easy to love others, and be “all happy” while others are loving you, but what happens to that love, when they start driving nails into your hands and your feet? And thrusting a spear into your side?

That’s a true test of the quality of Love you have, if it comes directly from God or not.

If you can sincerely say: “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34) You pass the course. Just like Stephen, the first martyr did, when he said basically, “Lord forgive them,” as he was being stoned by an out of control religious hate filled angry mob:

Acts 7:59-60 (KJV) And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

How many are ready to sign up for that class?

When the nails enter your hands, you will be tempted curse your tormentors, to hate them, and revile them with a vile and demonic bitterness, in holy self-righteous indignation. If you walk not by the Holy Ghost.

We should be able to quickly tell when you are not walking in God’s Grace and Truth, as Jesus did, when he, like a lamb before his shearers, was silent. You and I will quickly give ourselves away as soon as we open our mouths.

The church has some 2000 years of martyrs who died forgiving their tormentors, and even preaching the Gospel with their last breaths, while being burned at stake, nailed to crosses, cut in half, beheaded, torn limb from limb, having their skin ripped from their bodies, and God’s Heavenly Power and Heavenly Grace was revealed through the evil done and the wickedness exposed, and the liars were laid bare before the Word of God.

 

 

Two Eternal Ways to Treat Someone

Both ways will show up on our eternal report card. These two ways will test and prove if you are ready to become apart of heaven’s family, or if you will disqualify yourself by your own selfish nature. Below are two ingrained natural ways of treating others that prove who and what we are following.

When looking to build eternal and permanent relationships with other people these are important things to be looking for:

• Any sin we commit against one of God’s Holy Children, we simultaneously commit against God Himself, the Creator and Sustainer of that Child. When you sin against the Child, you Sin against the Father, and when you sin against the Father, you sin against His Whole Family.
  .
• Conversely, every time we show genuine love to one of God’s holy children, we show love to God simultaneously, and we bring blessing into His heavenly kingdom, His chosen heavenly Family here on earth, bringing “Thy kingdom to come on Earth as it is in Heaven.”

The entire Testimony of God is based on this simple but compellingly profound and far reaching principle.

 

 

Eternal Rewards

Every criminal act against the Throne of Heaven, and every transgression against the Law of God against one of his children, will have its day in court.

We will all stand before the Judge of All Mankind.

Justice shall be served.

Even though man’s court systems are full of corruption, favoritism, and exploit the poor, favor the rich, and let evil men get away with robbery, rape, and murder, it is not so with the High Court of Heaven. … God’s Court of Pure and Holy Justice is nothing like man’s.

Every single criminal act, against God or Man, in the history of the World … shall be prosecuted and judged on that day we all stand before him.

Every single soul ever created, all born into this world, and all unborn (still births, and aborted babies), they will all have their day in court, and justice will be served.

Multitudes beyond measure will be standing before Him, waiting for their moment of justice and judgment.

On that day, many will realize for the first time, what holiness unto the Lord really means.

Can you feel the tension in the air?

There will be a holy hush like never before, all the angels watching and waiting to see the fulfillment of all the ages.

• Every wrong with be righted.
• Every right will be rewarded.

All those who have waited patiently for this day, will come alive, and inwardly rejoice. All those who have denied this reality, will be full of dread and woe. They will die the death of self disgust.

Remember: A crime against God has NO expiration date. To God the past present and future are equally real, and nothing is forgotten: not one hair on your head, not one DNA strand in any cell in your body, lives on without God’s complete knowledge (nor does any sparrow fall to the ground without him knowing. Matthew 10:29).

Every single criminal transgression of the law will be adjudicated.

Consequently, every single person will be fully and completely justified and rewarded, or correspondingly condemned and punished, and that will be without bias, without prejudice, without any special interests, until the full raw and pure justice of the Law  of God is completely and thoroughly satiated.

 

 

One Law for Angels, Demons, Men, and all Creation

It is the same Law for Men, Angels, and Demons—All shall be  judged, and some shall be exonerated, due to the Blood Covenant of God. Apart from the Blood Covenant of God all souls would be condemned. 

The only way for a lost criminal sinner against God and man can be saved and redeemed, and can be snatched from the fires of hell, is through the golden path of salvation, that was paid for by the Blood of the Lamb.

On that day every living soul will sorely wish that he had learned how to make his sins as white as snow (and did so), because we will be held accountable for every infraction in God’s Law Book. Neither jot, nor tiddle will be withheld from God’s Judgement against us. (Matthew 5:18-20)

Please note: it doesn’t matter if you know how to do something, but don’t do it. The Word of God is very clear about this, it will be of no good use to the Intellectual, who knows all about “The Blood of the Lamb”, but does not apply it to his own life. If there is no life changing transformation, the man who knew the right and did not do it will be treated the same as the pagan, the thief, the harlot, and the hypocrite.

If I do not get personally cleansed from my sins and become white as snow before God and Man, I will experience the same Wrath of God, against me as all those who have rejected God’s Marvelous Gift of Salvation, through the Perfect Blood Covenant Sacrifice of His Son.

The Law of God can only be a blessing to those who listen to it, and obey it. In other words, we must become “doers of the Word”:

James 1:22-25 (KJV) 22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass [mirror]: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” 

All this applies directly to having your sins made white as snow. 

On the Day, when the Books are opened, and The Book of Life is Opened . . .  You will want your name Written in the in that Book. And you will want all your friends and family members names written in that book or it will be previous to you that you chose not to lead them into God’s Eternal Truth before it was too late.

That is a guarantee. I say this with full confidence and complete assurance. (See: Revelation 20:11-15; 21:27: 1 7:8; 13:8; 3:5;)

On this point you can be confident: If your name is not written in Jesus’ Book of Life you are not protected.

If you have not allowed (or better yet if you have forcefully resisted) God’s grace and the love of Christ to penetrate your whole being; If you have not allowed his life transforming blood to enter into your veins, and be pumped to every area of your life, you are in trouble.

If so … The chances are high that you have served Mammon all of your days, and have never truly considered what is the cost of your own salvation.

It is a sure foregone conclusion that the enemy of God will come, (just as he tried to enter Jesus’ life, and did enter Judas Iscariot’s life) and he will successfully enter into every area of your life left unprotected, unguarded, and lacking the power and perfection of God’s Spirit and God’s Word.

That includes any and every area that you walk in agreement with the Enemy of God.

PS–Thoroughly knowing and living out God’s commandments, makes you aware of the Enemy’s Tactics, Plans, Temptations, and how to be delivered from them.

Ignorance to God’s Law makes you vulnerable and unprotected. The enemy will make complete use of every ignorant fact (aka “lie”) that we have collected and stored up in our egotistical souls.

Every lie we believe is an open door for the enemy to come in and have total access to our mind, will, emotions, actions, habits, behaviors, our lifestyle, our world view, our total LIFE Paradigm is affected, by our ignorance of God’s Law: contained and lived out in His Word, and in His Spirit.

 

 

Do you know what areas of agreement that you  have entered into fellowship with the enemy of God?

As intimated earlier, every area of agreement, you walk in, is  like a signed covenant contract with the devil.

All the devil needs is your feelings, thoughts, words, and deeds, and BOOM! you are walking in agreement with the Devil. As such, you have become his complicit servant, you will share in his future, and you will get what is coming to Him.

No signature is necessary. You just need to walk in agreement and do the things the devil wants done. That creates a bond of agreement. That’s it.

That makes you a doer of the devils word and will. That makes you a complicit partner in his work. You don’t even have to like him, you don’t even need to believe in him. You just have to do what the devil’s wants done, that makes you a complicit partner in his crimes.

If you don’t hold a gun, and physically take money out of peoples hands during a bank robbery, but you drive the getaway car, you become complicit in the crime of robbery.

It doesn’t matter that you don’t like, and don’t even believe in the things the other bank robbers are doing. You are a complicit and willing participant in the crime, because you are willingly driving the get away vehicle.

Take Note: If I don’t verbally or physically abuse someone, but I stand by and watch someone else do it, and say nothing against it, I am complicit it that crime.

I become a participator in the crime by not stopping it, or at the very least, strongly speaking out against it. Doing my best to convince those committing the crime not to go through with it.

As you well know, evil is happening all around us, all the time.

Whether we do the crimes ourselves, or are complicit in the crimes against God, and against his children, we buildup a criminal rap sheet, with transgressions, with our names, dates, places, written into our record.

And every one of those transgressions, sins, crimes, lies, greedy transactions, lustful fantasies, including every act of infidelity, has been recorded and will be adjudicated.

 

 

We sin when we are weak

And then we make excuses for it, but that is not the way of the spirit.

After spending 40 days fasting in the Desert, Satan saw that Jesus was at a very weak and vulnerable point, for lack of food, lack of water, and physical exhaustion, at this very point the Devil came to Jesus and he tempted him. 

But Jesus strongly responded,

“It is written: ‘Men shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God!’ “

In this manner Jesus broke all agreement with the Evil One. He stood directly opposed to the word of Satan. He sliced the work of Satan into pieces.

When we walk intimately with God, in His Word (in Truth), and in His Spirit, we will do the same thing.

The only real power the enemy has to harm us is to lie to us and we to believe the lie. Without that agreement and that bond of fellowship in his darkness, the enemy would have no sway over us. Though he threaten to kill us, he would not have that power over us, unless God allowed that to happen.

And yes. God does prepare his servants to overcome Satan and Overcome Death, and to overcome the Fear of Death, and every stronghold that the enemy has had over our lives, and to give a proven testimony that we are above everything the enemy can throw at us. But fear not, this is reserved for those who have been prepared. 

 

If you know this world is not your home

If you know this temporary shabby shack filled with knaves, scoundrels, rogues, villains, rascals, good-for-nothing wretches, ne’er-do-well’s, reprobates, evil-doers, charlatans, cheats, swindlers, frauds, dogs, curs, rats, and scumbags, and you know they will not enter into eternal life, but will be rejected at the pearly gates, then you are strengthened in your faith, that God is in control.

You will know that soon these wicked people will be no more. They will soon be dead (as we also will be), and then comes the judgement. And immediately, they will all find out that their future is a horrible one (like the rich young ruler, as opposed to Lazarus the poor man).

The sooner we accept the fact that God has prepared a Life for us that is far superior to this Life, the sooner we will be eager to let go of this life in order to obtain the fullness of the life to come. This is the foundation of faith the secures the believer to the Solid Rock that will never fail.

Therefore, death should hold no fear over us.

The threat of death is an empty threat, to the true believer in Christ. You cannot threaten a true believer with Paradise. Even a painful, even a torturous death, will not dissuade the true believer’s hope in heaven. 

Nothing that you will lose in this life, will ever compare to what you will gain in the Life to come. Therefore, no amount of threats of violence, will cheapen your desire for your eternal home, if fact, it should do the opposite. Every negative aspect of life on earth, should secure our hope and make the promise of Life Eternal, that much more endearing and attractive.

If you have not this hope, the presence of sin, selfishness, greed, lust, jealousy, covetousness, party spirit, the attractiveness of drugs, booze, sex, popularity, fame, fortune, toys, stuff, will be very enticing. 

If you know you have no relationship with God and actually hate the idea of having one, then it only makes sense that sin will fill the void in your heart.

That void was created by God that it should be filled with righteousness, truth, justice, mercy and love, but without God these qualities really don’t exist, so every soul will through his sinful rebellious nature seek to fill that void, with sinful desires, habits, addictions, behaviors, imaginations, and stuff, that may make them feel good for a moment, but as soon as that moment is gone, they will need another thing, and then another thing, and then another … to fill the vacuous void.

That thing is Sin.

 

Two lists of Sin

1. Below is a long list of more than 600 sins that can be used to fill that void.
2. There is also a short list that represents the major sins common to the people of the Bible Times, as well as the same sins that are common today.

Overcoming Sin, is a simple thing:

1. Break all your agreements with Satan.
     
2. Keep all your agreements with God.

Do this and you will live.

Not only that but, you be welcome in God’s house forever and ever, and ever and ever.

Can you imagine inviting someone to live in your home forever and ever, knowing they were unwilling to break all their agreements with your enemy, who has sworn to harm all your children at any time, and at every opportunity he can find?

I don’t know about you, but I would tend to think poorly about the management skills, and leadership skills of a Father who wanted to make his eternal home a place of insecurity, doubt, and fear of evil people still doing evil deeds, a place were wickedness can and will thrive and be revived, instead of a place beauty, majesty, honor, and love. 

Thankfully, I can tell you from reading God’s Sacred and Legally binding Holy Testimony, that He has zero tolerance for Sin in His Presence.

Anyone found with Sin in His Presence will be cast out into the outer darkness forever and ever, and ever and ever. There will be no redemption for the one who chose not to leaven his sins, and not to have his sins made white as snow.

Anyone not wearing God’s Wedding Marriage Garments that are perfectly white and clean without spot, stain or wrinkle, that are provided by the LORD of the Marriage Banquet, will not be welcome to sit down at the Marriage Supper of God.

Matthew 22:11-14 (KJV) 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

 

Not having a wedding garment …

Make a note: The Wedding Garments are provided by the Lord of the Wedding Feast, they are free and pure and holy. 

Revelation 19:7-8 (KJV) 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

 

Many are called … few are chosen

Why is that? Simple. Many refuse to break their agreements with Satan, the ruler over all evil in this World. Not one finger print of Satan will be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven. Everything not washed in the Blood of the Lamb will be rejected, and sent directly to the Lake of Fire.

 

 

How hard is it to break agreements with Satan?

It is not as difficult as you might think.

In fact, it is simple to do, but you must be very alert, in your inner man. You must know your thoughts clearly, and precisely. And you must apply the Law of God to your every work and motive.

Salvation is a free gift, but genuine salvation creates an inner bond with God that produces a life free from sin, free from lies, free from evil, free from corruption, free from rebellion, free from witchcraft, free from sexual impurity (and gender dysphoria), free from Mammon, free from Satan.

The is why the prophet said,

Philippians 2:12-16 (KJV) 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

 

You must: “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling”

You must know your feelings, where they are coming from and who and what is guiding them.

You must know and daily connect with the word of God, not living by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Why? because it is through the word of God that the many lies of the enemy are exposed. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

Without the sharp piercing word of God teaching you, you can become a virtual “punching bag” for the enemy, in the mind, and in your emotions, in your physical body, and most importantly in your spiritual Life. 

And you must be continually be testing the words, thoughts, deeds, feelings, habits, behaviors of those around you. You must not allow yourself to be duped, trapped, influenced by the evil one, who will do everything in his power to call you back into his grip of death.

 

 

You must not be: “unequally yoked”

“Unequally Yoked” means to “Walk in Equal Fellowship” with those who walk not in agreement with God, but walk in agreement with the world, the flesh, the devil, the liar, the thief, the murderer, and blasphemer.

Why? Because every one of the things others do, the words they speak, the attitudes they have, who are close to you, can and will affect you overtime.

This does not mean you cannot have any friendships with lost sinners, but you do not invite them into your confidence. You should not be involved in covenant relationship with unsaved sinners. This would include: dating romantic relationships, Marriage,  Business Covenant/Partnerships, Secret Societies like the Masonic Lodge, the Elks Club, the Shriners Club, etc.

Our number one goal in our relationships with those lost in sin, and without the Light of God, should be for the salvation of lost sinners. Our goal should be to serve them unto Salvation. Our goal should not be to enter a partnership enterprises with them in order to get something from them. That would be a conflict of interest with our primary goal to bring them into the Salvation of God. 

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (KJV) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial [the worthless one]? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

You must avoid things that can used to take you down, to pull you away from life and the work of God, and get you to compromise your agreements with God. Many unbelievers will try to corrupt your whole knowledge of God.

This is just another reason why you need to truly value and honor those relationships in your life that are true and trustworthy, loyal and loving, healing and forgiving, and that will knowingly and willingly help to draw you closer in your relationship with God.

 

 

How hard is it to keep your agreements with God?

It is probably harder than you ever imagined. In fact it is utterly, and absolutely impossible to do so–in your flesh, on your own, following your own rulebook, trying to make the best of it on your own effort.

That is a recipe for disaster, repeating itself over and over and over. If you don’t believe so just ask me. I know because I have tried it on my own and failed every single time.

Everything you do on your own, is like being a vine branch cut off from the vine, and still trying to produce grapes. The job of the branch of the vine, is to receive nourishment, strength, virtue, blessing and life from the vine. The only way the branch can do that is to be grafted into the vine, and not cut off.

Therefore our job is to 1) abide in the vine, so 2) we can bear much fruit.

It is a beautiful thing to see a grapevine laden with fruit.

I know I’ve said this before, and you will hear me say it many times, because somethings need to be said more than once. In fact somethings need to be said over and over and over, because it is through repetition that we learn,

Jesus said,

John 15:1-5 (KJV) 1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. 3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Therefore, it is easy, natural, and expected that you will keep your agreements with God, as long as you stay connected to the vine.

In fact, you can’t help but bear much fruit if you remain in the vine, because the life of the vine will flow through you naturally, even without you having to always think about it.

John 15:8 (KJV) 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Once you are rooted and grounded in the vine, the power of the vine will grow into you and grow through you. You will become a vessel of blessing that the Lord can pour his good things into, and which he can pour out his good things upon others around you, through you. And there is nothing dull or common place about this incredible blessing, if you are being a part of the vine, because it is a supernatural vine with supernatural life flowing through it. That is if the branch will remain in the vine.

And that is how you keep your agreements with God by abiding in the vine. It is as simple as that, and as hard as that is for a man who is born in the flesh, and needs to be reborn in the spirit. 

 

 

Does your church abide in The Vine? 

This is a vitally important question to ask.

There are a number of critical factors to consider, and a number of obvious markers that will indicate the actual temperature of healthiness or sickness resting on any one church, or spiritual community.

One important factor or question to address is this: Is the Word of God being taught accurately, truthfully, with conviction, and direction from the Holy Spirit to the whole body of Christ.

Is the body of Christ being held accountable to be practical doers of the word of God? Or just hearers only?

Is the body of Christ organized so that the Holy Spirit of God can have free access to every member in the body and be the leader of the church?

Is the leadership of the church (the whole church government) structured so that all of the members of the church can be fully, completely functioning as individual members who are enthusiastically, and willingly, and completely submitted unto the complete leadership of the Holy Spirit, in the mind, body, soul, and spirit of every individual in the body, and is the body, as a whole, working together to do the will of God without compromise in the purity of God’s holiness?

I confess that is a long sentence above but each part of it is important to address. I suppose a simpler question might be:

• Is the body of Christ actually living as the body of Christ?or
• Is the Body of Christ actually doing the will of God from the heart in every area of their lives together, individually and corporately?
• Does your Church joyfully do the Will of God every day of the week? 
• Do they know their witness at home, and at school, and at work, and at the Market place, is just as important and could even be more important than their witness in the Church?
• Do the members of your church wake up every morning and say to God: “Whatever you want to do today God, use me, any way, any where, any how, and in any degree that you want to use me” ?
  • Teach me to be bold when you need me to be bold.
  • Teach me to be silent when you want me to be silent.
  • Teach me to step out of my comfort zone, and speak with conviction and truth in boldness and love!
  • Father … Teach me how to abide in your vine every hour of my day, that I might bring glory to your son, Jesus.

 

 

Is your church grafted into the vine,
or grafted into the world?

• Are the children of God being taught how to listen and obey the word of men (the ideas and thoughts of those in the world)? Or …
• Are they being taught how to obey the uncompromised and genuine Word of God?

Are they being encouraged to be grafted into the Vine, to produce the fruit of the Vine, and become vessels of blessing and honor, and of holiness to one another, especially in their sexual lives.

This is a hinge that the door of spiritual blessing and purity swings on.

If there is sexual impurity, sexual transgression, sexual compromise, sexual addictions, pornography, fornication, masturbation, adultery, divorce, broken/divided families, homosexuality, sodomy, sexual fantasy, orgies, beastiality, the watching of sexually stimulating R-rated, or X-rated Movies, a flirtatious spirit, the wearing of sexually stimulating tight clothes, excessive makeup, flaunting jewelry …  in the Church of the Living God: How can it be grafted in the Holy and Pure Vine of Christ? How can it be washed in His Blood? Fulfilling the conditions of the Blood Covenant of God, the Holy and Sacred Covenant and Contract between God and Man?

In other words, how much corruption from the philosophies of worldly men are entering into the teaching and training of the children of God?  (Or even worse how many are not being blocked, but are being allowed to enter into the fellowship without being rebuked, corrected, reproved, and resolved?) What attitudes and worldly contracts are being honored above the Word of God in your Church? You should make a list and check it twice.

Is the attitude of the church one of being a bright and piercing light in the community of God, and in the life of the secular community around them? Or do they want to be accepted, and honored, and praised, and spoken well of by those in the worldly community around them?

The  bald truth is you can’t have it both ways.

 

Do you attend a godly or a worldly church?

Another vitally important question to ask: Is the church a 501c3 corporation that is submitted to the state–first, to the Board of Directors–second, and the pastor–third, and to the denomination and seminary where the pastor got his training–fourth, to the worship pastor and team, and their influence (usually bad) upon the congregation–fifth, and finally somewhere down the line, the church believes it is submitted to the holy truth, the Holy Spirit, and the holy father and the son?

Guess what? This church by definition is a diluted and deluded church without God’s signature leadership. It is run by man.

It is by definition not a part of the Vine. And by definition it cannot and will not bear the fruits of The Vine.

It is a dry branch, trying to use individual props, and mechanisms, perks and humanly orchestrated promotions, to keep the people coming to church, but not in order to produce the fruit of the Vine, but to keep the show going.

 

 

The show must go on …  and on, and on

What you will see in such a church is lots of programs.  Children’s programs. Youth programs. Young adult programs. Young Married Programs. Senior Programs. Sports Programs. Art programs. Media Programs. Music Programs. Acting programs. These can be clear signs the church is not a part of the Vine, that the organization of the church is orchestrated by human programming. Human inventions. Human interests.

When did God say to separate people by age group? to separate the people of God by special interest groups? Where do you find that in the Word of God, in the New Testament Model of the Church. You don’t. That’s just the point.

The Church needs to abide in the Vine, every bit as much as the individual needs to abide in the Vine, even more so.

When all members of the church are abiding in the Vine, church fellowship will be exciting, it will be fulfilling, it will be challenging, and inspiring for people of all ages, all backgrounds, all colors, races, economic levels, etc. Meeting with the Real God, and following the very direction and Power of God, in church fellowship is never a dull moment. It is like living with Jesus on a mission to reach all the people of every town he would visit and speak to. Healing. Casting out devils. Performing miracles. Hearing prophecies. Speaking in tongues and interpretations (which will equal the impact of supernatural prophecies–just as Paul taught the church of Corinth (in 1 Cor. chapters 12-14). Singing songs of glory and praise. Speaking incredibly simple and profound lessons of wisdom and grace. Giving life to everyone Jesus meets. That’s what our fellowship should reflect. Our lives should reflect the same things we see in Jesus, and in the apostles, and all the same blessings, callings, spiritual gifts, and purity in fellowship in the Early Church in the Book of Acts. That is our training Manual.

All social levels, age levels, and humanistic categories shall be removed from any true and actively genuine Holy Spirit led fellowship.

 

 

Does your Church teach from
a Corrupted Text?

This is a question we need to ask regularly and frequently. Why? Because a corrupted text does not glorify Jesus. Is that not the whole purpose of real a righteous text that glorifies the Son of God?

The English Bible Translation used in an English Speaking Churches is critical. Modern Translations have been corrupted by a compromised and corrupted Greek text. How can a church be led by a corrupted text, that doesn’t even honor the Lordship of Jesus Christ? And even attacks the virgin birth. The diety of Christ, and casts doubt and creates confusion, and promotes deletions from the Word of God, and is promoted by ungodly men. Does the Leadership in the Church not have any spiritual discernment? Have they not investigated the corrupted text? If they haven’t, are they in agreement with the corruptions in the text? If so, flee such a false and compromised fellowship.

How do you teach from a corrupt text without being corrupted yourself. A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough.

“God is angry with the wicked
every day.” (Psalms 7:11) 

Mark this Down: What you’re about to read below is often not taught in the modern church. In fact it is directly opposed to much of the teaching of the modern church, and the modern preacher. There has been false teaching for several centuries, that the god of the Old Testament and the god of the New Testament are two different people. This teaching comes from the gnostics who were Greek philosophers that invaded the church even in the first century.

If you have been taught this and believe this, you might as well throw your entire Bible away, because it will be compromised. Everything in your Bible will be predicated on a false text. That is exactly the foundation the devil wants to lay in your faith, a corrupted text sponsored by two pagan infidels (Westcott and Hort).

Does your church teach God loves the sinner but hates the sin?

Does your church teach the Body of Christ is a hospital, and invite every kind of unholiness into its holy and sacred fellowship? 

• That is opposite of how the early church operated. The Early church was holy and pure. And people feared to join it, even though they highly respected it.
  .
• The modern church is worldly and carnal and people do not fear to join it, neither do people respect it.

In Deuteronomy chapter 9, you have the testimony of Moses, and the testimony of God, combined. These  testimoniesare legally binding (two witnesses), unchanging, written in stone testimonies that are set forth as examples to the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 10:6-11). They go directly against much modern teaching in the modern church.

Deuteronomy 9:8-27 (KJV) Also in Horeb ye provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry with you to have destroyed you. 9 When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant which the LORD made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water: 10 And the LORD delivered unto me two tables of stone written with the finger of God; and on them was written according to all the words, which the LORD spake with you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.

11 And it came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights, that the LORD gave me the two tables of stone, even the tables of the covenant. 12 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image. 13 Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: 14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.

Now please notice: the Lord is not talking about a foreign, pagan, heathen people. He’s talking about the Israelites, his own chosen children, the children of Abraham, the children of the promise, the children of the covenant of God.

He is exceptionally angry with his own people because they are acting like foreign, pagan, infidel, idol worshipping, heathen, immoral people. These people knew better, they had seen all the Mighty Works that God did to deliver them from the slavery of Egypt. They had seen and experienced firsthand the mighty miracles, signs, and wonders. They had all physically walked through the Red Sea when it parted in front of them. They saw Egyptian soldiers and chariots, drown, covered with water, and every one of their enemies perish, without lifting a single finger against them.

And these people heard his voice and entered into a legally binding covenant with God Almighty. They said with their lips that they would agree to all of God’s commandments and conditions. But still their hearts were far from him.

These people are not so different from those who attend the modern church today. They had a form  of religion, a form of godliness, but they denied the power thereof. (2 Timothy 3:4-5)

15 So I turned and came down from the mount, and the mount burned with fire: and the two tables of the covenant were in my two hands. 16 And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you. 17 And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes. 18 And I fell down before the LORD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you.

But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. 20 And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time. 21 And I took your sin, the calf which ye had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.

• And at Taberah, [Numbers 11:3, And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.],
• and at Massah,  [Exodus 17:7, And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?]
• and at Kibrothhattaavah, [Numbers 11:33-35; And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague. 34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted. 35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.]

[These were three other times] ye provoked the LORD to wrath.

• 23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea [a fourth time they rebelled], saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. [This happened after 10 of the 12 spies sent into the land brought back a fearful report of how huge the giants were in the land, and how high, the walled cities were.]

24 Ye have been rebellious against the LORD from the day that I knew you. 25 Thus I fell down before the LORD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the LORD had said he would destroy you. 26 I prayed therefore unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 27 Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

 

 

Have you been tempted to diminish your sins before the Lord God?

[Are you aware of the many commonly accepted so called “Christian Sins”. It seems like they infiltrate every modern church, but I can say with confident conviction they won’t be allowed in Heaven, and will not be tolerated at the Pearly Gates. Just something to think about.]

Be ye a christian or not, Satan himself through his entire demon network (see the Screwtape Letters), will come and take advantage of your ignorance, and your pride, and your proclivity to walk in agreement with him and with the flesh, and with the worldly systems of thought and deeds.

He will tempt you, and hound you, over and over (1 Peter 5:8-11) until he gets you to “sow to the wind,” in order to “reap the whirlwind.”

You can trust God’s Word, this is not a good thing. When you sow to the flesh, you will reap destruction.  (Galatians 6:7–10) That is how you remain unprotected from God’s Law.
