Many Churches believe preaching
is what the church is  ALL  about

They exalt the pulpit above the people, and above the true ministry of the church. The true ministry of the church is to teach what Jesus taught, to do what Jesus did, and to keep the commandments of Jesus, which is to make disciples, who make disciples. Good preaching is just a means to that end. If it that is not the goal of the Church, nor the preacher then all the preaching is just a lot of hot air.

1. 1. The number one goal of the Church is to turn sinners into saints through the preaching of the Word, combined with the prayers of the Saints.
       
   2. The number two goal of the church is to turn the new believer into an indestructible disciple, one who can preach the gospel, terrorize the kingdom of darkness, plunder the strongman’s house, and destroy the works of the evil one.

Many Self infatuated and puffed up preachers are not in church to make disciples of Christ, that make disciples. They are not there to train and raise up the body of Christ to learn how to preach the Gospel (that would create competition for them.)

They are there to promote themselves and their own so-called special ministry. Often, their name is on the church sign out front, the church letterhead, the weekly church bulletin, and all over the church communications. That is one strong indicator that the church is all about the preacher, not about the ministry of Jesus.

Many preachers are there to entertain and put on a show, that will bring the people (tithers) into the church (sometimes with drama, with music, with lights, and all kinds of worldly contraptions, spiritual and carnal gimmicks, (including fake healings, and emotional experiences) that will improve their image, especially the Big Screen Overhead (Benny Hinn comes to mind.) They share their dramatic stories and dramatic messages with whatever tools they have to keep the people coming back every week. They often place a big emphasis on their own personal revelations, their own prophecies, and their own spiritual journey, like they are  the model people should want to follow (instead of Christ). 

Colossians 2:18-19  

Let no man beguile [or rob] you of your reward:

1) [by employing] a voluntary [false] humility, and
2) [by promoting the] worshipping of angels,
3) intruding [speaking about things] into those things which he hath not seen [in other words, fake visions],
4) [which are] vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And
5) not holding the Head, [which is Christ] from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. [In other words, a fake preacher is a scam artist who doesn’t care about building up the Body of Christ.]

If Paul witnessed these things happening in his day, how much more would we expect to see such things in our day, some 2,000 years after Jesus was resurrected, and ascended into Heaven?

 

Who doesn’t want to be rich?

Many false teachers emphasize directly the teaching of Mammon, which they call “the prosperity doctrine.” They emphasize: how to get prosperous, how to get rich, how to become blessed, how to get a touch from God, how to feel good, how to get healed, how to get a spiritual buzz, high, hit, or toke, etc. (like the believer is a spiritual addict that needs a fix.) They also appeal to the selfishness and greed of people. These preachers are scammers peddling the Word of God for profit.

 

The super apostles had
Superior Speaking Skills

Paul, the apostle of Christ, who was commissioned by Jesus to make disciples, that make disciples, had to deal with these spiritual criminals invading the church all the time. In Corinth, these preachers called themselves “super apostles”.

2 Corinthians 11:3-6

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  For if he that cometh:

1) preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if
2) ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, [like the kundalini spirit] or
3) another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

(In other words, Paul legitimately feared that the church of Corinth would receive false teachers into the fellowship of God.)

For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles (aka, the super” apostles, which is what they claim to be),   But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

In other words, Paul was being labeled, sidelined, put-down, and persecuted by these false self proclaimed “super apostles” because Paul didn’t have the superior speaking skills to “Wow, The Audience” with drama, emotions, tricks, and deceptions.

Therefore, Paul was warning the church against these false teachers who are very good at spellbinding words and thoughts and mesmerizing the listeners with another gospel, coming in through it another spirit, preaching another Jesus, something completely different from the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

The same thing is happening in the modern church today.

Can you see the war we are in today is no different than the war Paul was in in his day? 

Fake leaders are there to stand in the lime light and show off their learning, their great depth of knowledge, to wow people with their insights, and personal revelations, to entertain, to make people feel good about themselves (our number one idol).

These hustlers and peddlers of God’s Word, preach their vanity messages that they have received from their “puffed up minds”. But they are far, far, far from being doers of the Word.

If they be not a doer of the Word, how can they walk in the Spirit of Truth and Humility, teach others to become doers of God’s Holy Word? They can’t. That’s just the problem Paul dealt with in his day, and we must deal with in our day.

 

A true preacher is a doer of the word

A true doer of the Word, does not need a big stage, bright lights,  lots of attention, or the “big money” involved showmanship religion to get him to obey the Spirit of God. In fact, he will do his work much better in secret, “NOT TO BE SEEN BY MEN”, therefore much of his work will not be noticed or advertised, or marketed to the world, because the reward of the doer of the Word, is that the FATHER sees in secret what the doer has done, and he rewards him in eternity, with great shouts of praise, and accolades of heaven.b

You will notice most of the apostles did the work of Evangelism, Teaching, Disciple Making, sharing the Power of the Spirit of God without anyone writing it down. They did it in secret. In fact, very, very, very little of the Work of God recorded in the first century ever made into the pages of history.

Even the life of Jesus was only highlighted: John wrote,

John 21:25 (KJV)
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

This has been true throughout church history. Those who are truly doing the work of God are oftentimes unknown, unnoticed, working quietly behind the scenes, making disciples, that make disciples, one at a time. These are the true unsung heroes of the faith. These are not the popular, powerful, or the persuasive (in a worldly sense). They are the humble often reserved, but every day working, sowing the seeds of the kingdom everywhere they go, planting seeds, watering plants, and growing disciples one by one. 

 

 

The Deep work of God
is always done in Secret

We We are called by God to: 1)  pray in secret, 2) fast in secret, and 3) give alms in secret, and our Father who sees in secret will reward us.

Matthew 6:5-6 (KJV) 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward [the reward of men’s praise]. 6 But thou [you singular], when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

A true doer of the Word, can and often will be much more effective one on one, or in very small groups, where personal interaction and much time is given for personal questions and learning how to do the Word, how to put it into practice, rather than just hearing about it, or just talking about.

 

Has your church set you up for success or failure in the Kingdom of God?

Churches, and preachers, and Bible study leaders, and small group leaders that focus on just hearing, and just talking about God’s Word set themselves up for failure, even as they set up their students for failure as well.

When you study Jesus’ ministry, he was continually amazing his followers, because he was leaving the crowds, to spend time with his few disciples. He cared more about the few that had been entrusted into his care, than the multitudes that wanted his attention.

If Jesus was a proud, self inflated, self infatuated leader, he would have maximized his time among the vast crowds that wanted to follow him, but he didn’t. He was directed by the Spirit of God to leave the crowds and focus on training the few men who were truly committed and called by God to represent his kingdom to the world.

In How many church leaders today, do you see this similar focus, this duplicate value? How many pastors spend one on one time with their disciples showing them how to practically become doers of the word of God? How many pastors take their disciples outside the four walls of the church and teach them how to witness the message of the gospel to the lost? How to bring conviction upon the hearer of the Word of God? How to turn a sinner away from his wicked sinful life, and turn it over to the King of Heaven? How to train a sinner to become a fruitful worker in the Kingdom of God? And how to share the love of Christ with everyone they meet in a day?

Has your pastor ever done this with you? If not why not?

 

Have you been trained to become
a doer of the Word?

Does your church teach every member of your church how to become a doer of the Word of God? How to become a disciple that makes disciples, that in turn makes disciples?

If not, what is their goal? What is their purpose? What are they doing instead?

Are they setting you up to be a successful worker in the LORD’s Vineyard? 

Or are they setting you up to become a fattened, lazy, and compromised lamb so that they themselves can feed off of you–for many years to come?

 

The Weeds are Real

This should be no big surprise. God plainly tells us there will be false converts in the church–both in the pulpit and in the pew. (Matthew 13:27–30) 

It only seems shocking to those in the world who are looking for ways to denigrate God’s Word, but God foretold us, before there even was a church, that there would be many who claim one thing, but live another.

Since this is no surprise to God, it should be no surprise to you or I. Today, the church is full of such people, more than ever before. They used to be called Tares among the Wheat. Today, many just call them false converts.

Today, there are whole churches, whole seminaries, and whole denominations, that don’t believe in God’s word, don’t believe in the virgin birth, don’t believe in the resurrection of Christ, don’t believe in the miracles of God, nor the healings of God, and don’t believe in the creation story of God.

This is no surprise. This is nothing new. This has been going on for centuries.

This is the war in which we are called to fight. This is the arena in which we are called to contend.

 

Have you learned how to
contend for the faith?

Jude 1:3-4 (KJV) 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faithwhich was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

From the very beginning of the gospel story we are warned against these liars entering into the church. Several of the false early church fathers were greek gnostics, Clement of Alexandria,  Origen, Tertulian, Eusebius, and more.

Origen (185-254 AD) was a heretic and Gnostic. He and Clement of Alexandria (died 215 AD) helped to corrupt the manuscripts giving us the false modern “Alexandrian manuscripts” promoted by Westcott & Hort, used in virtually all the newer false translations of the Bible: NIV, NASB, a living Bible, the new king James, the amplified Bible, a new Jerusalem Bible, RSV, versions of today.

Today, Seminaries hire professors who don’t even believe in the resurrection, don’t believe in the virgin birth, don’t believe in miracles, signs, wonders, or the God of Creation. And yet they have many degrees in theology, and in Christian doctrine, and and Bible history, and Bible knowledge. HMM?? And why are they teaching in Seminaries about God? Remember the Church is being run by Mammon, and not by God, so the world is dominating the teaching of the Word of God, not the Spirit of God Himself.

Nothing escapes God’s Attention

This brings up an important point: When you begin to enter into the Reasonings of God, you will soon realize that God clearly tells us the End from the Beginning.

Nothing has escaped his attention or his understanding. He wrote about what is happening today, 1000’s of years ago. There is nothing new under the sun.

He told Daniel that knowledge would increase, and that famines, earthquakes, and wars would increase and culminate at Jesus’s Return.

Here is a little preview of the future history of the world given to Daniel the Prophet of God:

Daniel 12 (KJV) 1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time [of the end]: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,

A) some to everlasting life, and
B) some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousnessas the stars for ever and ever. 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro [travel and rapid transit shall increase], and knowledge shall be increased [today, information is mutlpling faster than ever]. 

5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half

[that is referring to the 3 1/2 year period, the final rule and reign of the Anti-christ, before his is judged and thrown into the pit of hell–explained in detail, in other scriptures that dovetail the book of Daniel];

and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white [white as snow], and tried [and tried in the fire of affliction purified 7 times over]; but the wicked shall do wickedly [everyone with an un-pierced and unbroken stony heart]: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

 

God is not a prophet

He is the architect and designer of time and eternity. He knows the beginning from the ending. He has given the world his holy invitation, through his chosen holy men who are ordained to be his prophets.

Sadly, Most have spurned his gracious and eternal call to come into his house and be cleansed of their sins, and to be made new into the image and likeness of his Glorious Son.

As we can can see (if we have a pierced and broken heart with good soil to receive his Word), we can believe and see by faith that God writes history before it happens. There are several places in the Scriptures where God lays out clearly and concisely the History of the World, from a certain point in History to the end of the world as we know it.

In the book of Daniel, you have an exact timeline, when the son of man would come, and also the very end of the age, commonly known as the seven years of the great tribulation, and it is harmonized with the Book of Revelation. Both books identify specific events that trigger the chronological clock of the prophecies being given. These prophecies also dovetail (fit in perfectly) with others, like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Malachi, Moses, Ezekiel, Ezra, Nehemiah, Zechariah, and more] which are going to be more fully covered in the Blood Covenant of God.

 

Walking in God’s character and nature

If you ever meet someone whowalks in God’s Character and in His Nature, who lives according to His Spirit, and not the Flesh: You will sense the difference in them immediately. Mark them down as a true example. Remember them, when you get discouraged.

If you have met a person identified by the scriptures as a Tare in the Wheat, or a false convert, Mark them down, as well. Do not treat them the same as a true convert. They may be highly intelligent, and even very charismatic, but be wary of them. God says they are dangerous, and corrupted, and whatever you do, don’t follow in their footsteps.

• Have you met a lot of ‘christian’ pretenders? Have you been a pretender yourself? Chances are high that you have.

Don’t let that discourage you: Don’t let those past offenses of your own, or others, block you from you Eternal Inheritance. That is clearly the Enemy’s Plan to Rob you of your rightful inheritance.

If you don’t know about your rightful inheritance: (Please read The Blood Covenant of God) You have Eternal Treasures waiting for you. They have been purchased on your behalf. They will be permanently stored up for you to enjoy into infinity, but you must learn about them in order to receive them. You must ask for them. You must seek them, and you must find them–like treasure buried in a field. You must sell all you have to get them. (Matthew 13:44)

And I hate to say this: But you will find out soon, you must separate yourself from false converts, or you will learn their ways, and that will deeply compromise your faith in God and your walk with God.

It is not your job to judge the Tares, but it is your job not to join with them, (see the parable of the five wise virgins, Matthew 25. Keep your lamp filled with oil, and keep it burning. Don’t give your oil to someone else. That is your sacred treasure to be kept with conviction, and with diligence, just like the five wise virgins. (more on this later.)

You must covenant with God in order to Learn His Ways . Though they be hidden, you will find them. When you seek them, they will become real to you. (Matthew 7:7) They will be made known to you if you don’t give up. You must persevere, until your have obtained your inheritance from God Almighty. That is all part of the covenant he has offered you. (Luke 11:5–13)

This is why you must Endure to the End:

Matthew 24:10-13 (KJV) 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

 

 

Here are 3 problems:

… with Getting You Sins to become White As Snow:

1. Some people try hard to believe they have no sins that need washing. This is a huge deception, and a big mistake: They place themselves in their own minds, above the Law of God, and they think they know more than God. These people deceive themselves, and will not be able to receive anything from God. (John 5:44) 
   .
2. Some people try to use Human Reasoning when approaching God. This is a disaster waiting to happen: Come to God on His terms, you will like the results far better than you could possibly imagine.  (Psalm 138:6, Ecclesiastes 5:1-3) 
   .
3. Only a supreme fool would not want his sins to be washed away. 
   .
   The reality is: there are many people who don’t want their sins washed away.  They love their sins. They feel they could not live without them. (Of course, living in God’s definition is the opposite to living by man’s definition.) They cling to their sins, like they cling to their wallet.
   .
   Sadly, many of these people have been lied to, abused, manipulated, controlled, and as a result have become hardened sinners.Many are offended by anything to do with God, and it would seem impossible to reach them with the Gospel. Yet, God will save even the worst of them, and use him to reach the rest. I know. I was one at one time. And so were you … most likely, but God has given us his everlasting grace … (Proverbs 26:11; 2 Peter 2:22)

 

If I am a fool:

I will give up my invitation and my place in heaven, for just one more: shot of tequila, for just one more dirty movie, just one more ride cruising in my friend’s hot rod getting high, just one more night of partying,  just one more sexual affair,  or one more night of pornography, or just one more orgy, just one more drug trip, just one more drunken bay cruise, or gambling spree, just one more shady business deal, just one more lie to my parents, my spouse, my children, my boss, just one more __________ (fill in the blank).

Very Soon, it will be way too late to repent. Too late to confess your sins. Too late to say I’m sorry. To Say: “Please forgive me. I was wrong.”   (To your parents, your children, your spouse, your boss, your best friend or to God Himself.) To late to seek restitution, or restoration. On that day, you will deeply wish you had chosen to sin in your addiction, just one less time.

What might be the predictable consequences of a fool’s final fling with sin?

That one last shot of alcohol? It turned into another 5 year drunken binge, with devastating life results. It caused a bar fight, breaking one man’s neck vertebrae causing permanent paralysis. Also, it turned into, just one more DUI, losing your right to drive permanently.  That hot rod ride? Turned into an accident killing 3 innocent people, creating just one more felony man slaughter indictment. That drunken bay cruise? It left one of your friends, knocked out cold, dead in the water, and you didn’t even realize it or go back for her, you were too drunk to notice. She was dredged up in the morning by the harbor patrol. That last gambling spree? It wiped out your entire family finances (20 years of savings).  That lie to your spouse? It ended your 30 year marriage and family life. That sexual fling? It ended in the killing of an innocent unborn unwanted child, through an abortion, and an incurable STD/STI.  That one last druggy binge? It ended in just one more dirty needle that brought you the gift of HIV/AIDS.

Someone might say: yeah but that’s a little extreme don’t you think? An honest response would be: Yes. But guess what? This could have been me. This could’ve been you. You hear about and know these things happen every day. The wise man takes warning and avoids evil. The foolish man keeps going and suffers for it.

 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself:
but the simple pass on, and are punished.
Proverbs 22:3

The fool will say in his own heart: You are still “cool.” You are still “hip.” You are still accepted by your party crowd. “Shit happens.” (Right? But he never really recognizes, nor takes responsibility for the shit he creates. In his partnership with the devil, walking in his religion of idolatry and pleasure, putting self first, and everyone else last, the evolutionist, survival of the fittest mentality, the fool just keeps returning to his sin, like a dog returning to his vomit.) 

As a dog returneth to his vomit,
so a fool returneth to his folly.
 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit?
there is more hope of a fool than of him.
Proverbs 26:11-12

 

The fool will say to his own heart:  “Yes. You’ll get over it. You’ll “move on.” Someday you will get out of the federal penitentiary, and continue your cool life.”  

But what the drunk driver, the wicked business man, the fetal abortionist doesn’t consider: What about all the damage you created? Yeah you made some money. Yeah, you went out and had a good time. But what about all the damage? What about all the sins, that you have done to others and to God? What about those aborted babies? The whole train of wrecked lives you helped to destroy in your own selfishness.  

And like the proud, wicked, fool that you are, you will still look down on those  despicable disciples of Christ, those real followers of God, who continue to teach and preach, that you need to have your sins made white as snow. You will continue to think:

“Yeah, but those religious nuts are really square. They don’t drink booze, take drugs, party, dance, watch dirty, evil, violent, murderous, wicked movies. They don’t have free sex,  gamble, go on drunken boating or driving trips. They don’t have any fun, and they don’t believe in abortion, or evolution, OR WAR. How stupid is that?

“They are really messed up: Religious fanatics. Islamaphobic. Intolerant. Bigoted. Prejudice. Up-tight. Homophobic, prude, misogynistic, sexist, racist, Judgmental, Social outcasts. They are the butt of mocking jokes. They believe in things like Creation. God. Jesus. The Bible.  The Flood. The Judgment of Sodom. Eternal Life. Talking animals. The devil. Living forever in Heaven (How boring!). HAVING THEIR SINS FORGIVEN, and Made White as Snow. How foolish! How stupid and archaic is that? They are totally out of touch with reality and modern society.”

 

A little more about fools:

If you are identified in the Word of God as a fool, that is not a good thing. The fool’s own pride bars him from having any faith in the Son of God. His own beliefs run interference and block his understanding any time the Word of God is presented to him. This is actually the devil’s recipe for self destruction.

The Fool cares more about his own personal beliefs than truly investigating God’s Word. In order to protect himself and his ways he may even rant and rave, and rail against anyone that cares about gaining Wisdom or Eternal Understanding, or Life Everlasting from God’s Word. (I should know. I was that guy before I humbled myself, and allowed my heart to be pierced, and received the Seed of the Messiah into my previously hardened, arrogant, railing, hard heart.) 

 

Proverbs 18:2 (KJV) A fool hath no delight in understanding,but that his heart may discover itself [he only delights in airing his own opinions].

• • In other words, a true fool cares only about his own opinions, and has little room in his thoughts for God.

Psalms 10:4 (KJV) The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

• • This only makes perfect sense, if you want to do wicked things, you will not be spending any time seeking after God’s thoughts. Why? Because his thoughts will only condemn, and castrate you for wanting to walk in wickedness against him.

Ok, enough talking about fools.

Now, about having your SINS become White as Snow…

We have Good News to Share: We have much to rejoice in, even when the whole world is falling down around us, getting more corrupt every day, getting deeper and deeper into debt, creating artificial crisis after crisis. Creating fake and senseless riots, run by professionally paid rioters, hired by professional rioting organizations. Crashing the Stock Market, getting the rich richer, and the poor poorer, (the new way to commit the crime of thievery). Always Creating tension, spreading lies through the media, fomenting prejudice, creating false artificial antagonisms, covering up corruption, promoting division, wicked competition, fomenting hatred, jealousy, racism and the like. Even now, we have Great News!

When the world becomes more dangerous, more out of control, more sick, more confusing, more unstable, more neglectful of common sense, or any good judgement, more committed to darkness, evil, and wickedness … We do not worry. Why? Because–we have a strong tower to run into and be safe, even in the worst of times. 

• Proverbs 18:10 (KJV)The name of the LORD is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. If you haven’t already, please check out: The Name of God (series). It will explain the POWER behind His Name, and why it is such a strong tower.

 

Make a note for yourself: If someone you know, or even you yourself have a problem grasping the Message of the Gospel; if the Gospel is hidden from you, and you feel little connection to it–you can change that. It all depends on your frame of mind.

• 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (KJV) 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Paul, Peter, James, John, Jesus, and ALL the Apostles, Prophets, and Teachers stand in perfect agreement. They all agree: The mind is blinded by sin. The one who wants to steal your inheritance from you for eternity is doing a great job–but you must do an even greater job and defeat him. He is a liar. A thief, and a murderer from the beginning.  So you must fight him, but not with a carnal mind or human weapons, they will be of no effect upon him. In fact, they will insure you a losing battle!!! 

You must use God’s Spiritual Battle Weapons that are mighty “Through God” in the pulling down of strongholds. (2 Corinthians 10:4;  Ephesians 6:10-11; Revelation 12:10)

 

“Stronghold agreements” need to be broken

Before one can break a stronghold, one must recognize the stronghold one must break.

A stronghold is a place where the enemy is running his business without much (or any) hinderance. That is because everybody is walking in agreement with him already.

A stronghold takes an agreement to get it started. No agreement, no place to start, no stronghold is developed. If you never walk in agreement with evil or the devil, you will never develop a strong hold of agreement with him. (But that is pretty rare, maybe even non-existent.)

A man, or a group of men, must begin to walk in agreement with the devil in order to create a stronghold in our society (check out Freemasonry, the Jesuit order, and all the other secret societies with spiritual binding oaths, Aleister Crowley.)

A stronghold can be in your mind, in your family attitude, in your peer group of friends, in your place of work, in your government officials. It can be embedded into your education, your music, your entertainment choices, your hobbies, pleasures, fancies, pastimes, your use of money, your ideas about life.

Occultic strongholds can be quickly established by listening to demonic rock ‘n’ roll music. And also by taking part in drugs, drinking alcohol, and having immoral sex, or even while just dancing immorally to demonic rock ‘n’ roll music. These are all tied together to one demonic root, that creates permanent strongholds in the people without the Spirit of God.

This is also a quick way to invite demons into your life to control you and create strongholds inside of you against the Spirit of Truth. All these actions are actually steps of religious occult demonic worship. They used to be reserved for idol worshipping temples. Now they are just done at bars, at parties, and orgies anywhere.

Wherever agreements are being made and social contracts are being signed (may not be physically signed but they are signed in other ways emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, wherever you find agreement you find contracts being signed), where everybody just accepts a certain lie, and allows it to take root. That is where you will find the strongest strongholds, and you can watch them grow and grow. Give the devil an inch, and he will take a mile. When I was a teenager, homosexuality was taboo, and offensive, and in our society at large. But today strongholds have been rooted into our education systems that have made it legally, morally, and socially not only acceptable, but privileged. Chances are you have been influenced and shaped (programmed) by many such strongholds (social contracts), and you may have entered into many of them, without being fully conscious of them. I know I did. 

Strongholds are often prepared by the media moguls years in advance (working in total cooperation with their demonic counterparts) long before they take root in the culture.

When people keep saying the same things on the movie screen, hearing the same things on the radio, being taught the same things in public schools, sharing the same things in their peer groups (that oppose God’s Word)–our society as a whole is making agreements and creating strongholds against God and against his word. Many stronghold agreements can be found in the church you go to, and even in the message and presentation of the false gospel represented in possibly the majority of modern churches worldwide. This is because the word we live in has infiltrated the church.

It took me quite awhile to unwind, and untangle myself from my many social contracts (hidden demonic stronghold agreements) that I swallowed  hook, line, and sinker: Many, if not all, without realizing what was happening. Why it was happening. And who was behind it all.

As a result of receiving those lies as the truth, they twisted my spiritual life up. They caused me to stumble in my walk  with God over and over.

It wasn’t until I began to clearly recognize what was happening, and that I was struggling against a stronghold, that then I was able to identify and fight against it.

I imagine you too, have your own strongholds, that have developed in you over time.

Here’s a word I have for you: don’t give in, don’t give up, and due time you will overcome every dark strong hold, if you persevere. The one who watches over you, is with you, and will deliver you.

 

One Common Christian Stronghold

Here’s just one stronghold/viewpoint that I don’t believe comes from the scriptures, but is strongly present in almost every church and every believer I have ever met:

“You know, we are all just sinners. And I sin every day.”

To some this may sound like humility, truthfulness, transparency, open accountability, etc., but to me it sounds like a piece of programming to set up the Saints of God, to fail everyday. Where does this saying come from? Who is the originator of it? And what is its purpose, and what is its final effect?

“You know, we are all just sinners.
And I sin every day.”

Where did Jesus say your are going to sin everyday? Where did Peter, James, Paul, or others teach that, or set that up as the expectation for the Believer to sin everyday? Could this not be an excuse for sinning everyday? Could this not be used as a reason to self justify your sin?  A reason or excuse to continue in known sin, just allowing it to continue?

Does not Jesus teach plainly: “Be ye perfect, and your Father in Heaven is Perfect”?

Does not Paul teach that every believer is meant to mature and enter into the full stature and likeness, and bear image of Christ? (Did Christ sin every day?)

Did not the Apostle of Love, John write:

1 John 3:9-12 (KJV) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.

The truth be told, I still struggle with past lies and deceptions, from time to time, but not nearly as much as I did at first. And yes, sins still need to be repented of, but if I allowed myself the pre-programmed excuse, that I sin everyday, I believe that false understanding of scripture, would open the door to me to sin more and more everyday. And that would be my excuse I could use to shield my conscience from hearing, and believing, and receiving, 1 John 3:9.

If you have walked through this, you know what I am talking about. I was a carnal hormonal, ADD, surfer kid from Southern California. I was also an art major that was deeply involved in the occult for a number of years (those two often go hand in hand). So as you might imagine, I entered into the Kingdom of God with a lot of baggage, but even with that baggage, comes some special insight that others without that baggage, and without that necessary deliverance may never have. So I am not complaining, nor making excuses, just stating some real life issues and facts that I myself needed to deal with.

What I want to underline here is this: There is not hell hole that the Devil creates that the Power of God is even greater and deeper still to deliver you from. His ability to rescue his child, always trumps the ability of the devil to deceive his child. If only his child will turn his face to God. All God needs is a willing, humble, teachable heart. And He can do miracles through such a one as this.

Yes. Stronghold agreements need to be exposed, broken, and deleted from our lives. The closer we walk to the scriptures, the safer, healthier, happier, and cleaner we will daily become.

 

Mark this Down: We are in a War

The fact is: We are at War. And in this war lives are being won, and lives are being lost every day in our battle against the darkness.

Soon, all our battles will be over, and there will be no more time to enter into the work of rescuing and saving the lost. Our time will be up. Our life will be finished. And we will receive the inheritance, and all the treasures we have stored up.

Our truest treasure will be the infinite and permanent souls we have brought before the Father’s Throne, white and clean, clothed in the garments of Righteousness that He Himself has provided for us, that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, men and women will be permanently won into the Kingdom of God, having their sins made white as snow.

So let us not fall asleep in the light!

This is not some little casual war: The stakes are High. Life and Death are weighing in the balance for all of Eternity. Not only is your own life on the line, but your best friend’s life, your parents, and grandparents, your spouse, your children, your classmates, workmates, your neighbors, your teachers, and everyone you meet–Their lives are all on the line. They ALL have a choice to make, a most important choice … but chances are their eyes have been blinded to the glorious gospel also. Just as yours and mine have been, so we can relate to them.

Today is the only time we have to get the job of salvation done. Today is the day of Salvation!Once this day is over it can never be retrieved, never be repeated. Every choice made today is an done deal. You cannot undo it. The time is gone, the event is over. You can only move forward with what you have learned, and hope and pray for greater courage, greater boldness, greater Holy Ghost power and influence, and grace the next time. And pray that there will be a next time, trusting God by Faith. Seek God, and ask him for a miracle. He is the God of miracles. The greatest miracle God ever performs is in the salvation of one lost and lonely and lowly sinner, repenting from his sins, and turning completely to God for eternity. When one lost soul, sees his need for God’s Salvation, and fully receives God’s Grace to wash his sins white as snow … It just doesn’t get any better than that.

2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (KJV) 1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

 

How Long will your body last?

If you haven’t noticed, This Life is but a Breath: We breathe in and then we breathe out, and then suddenly, we are out of breath. Then it’s over. It’s gone. And no amount of money, no amount of sex appeal, nor fame, nor political power; and no amount of skill or effort, or good deeds can change that fact.

It is an immovable fact.Ten out of ten people will die. Soon, very soon, you and I will be breathing our last breath. What then? What comes next? Have you prepared your soul and spirit to enter into the Life to Come? Have you prepared yourself for eternal life? Do you know the Heavenly Legal Code that is going to be applied to your account, and is being recorded, even now, with every breath you take? 

… but in this world nothing can be said to be certain,
except death and taxes.”  – Ben Franklin

Many people know and fear the IRS Legal Tax code, and do all they can to avoid it. And when they ignore it, it can come back and crush them. And this is only temporal power. How much more should we know and fear God’s Eternal Moral Code, and His Eternal Power?

 

Do you know the Ettiquette of Heaven?

Have you sat down and reasoned with God?Have you learned His Requirements? Learned His House Etiquette?

When you go into someone else’s house, especially someone who is a foreigner to you, and you enter into a whole new world of customs you have never be exposed to … it is a good idea to be very alert, and sensitive to the house etiquette in this new home. Do you take your shoes off? Do you leave them on? It is important to know, if you plan on not offending your host. 

If you were going to have lunch with the Queen of England, wouldn’t you do well to learn the Queen’s Etiquette? You’d be a fool not to learn all you can before your luncheon engagement with the Queen. (Because if you are like me, you would be clueless, and a clod, at the dining table). Yet, if you offend her, she is only a human being (like yourself), and only rules over a human kingdom. But what happens when you offend God in his own Home?

How much more should you be prepared to have a dinner with the King? The King of Heaven? You must learn all you can about His House Rules, before you enter His Courtroom. You must prepare yourself to be judged, worthy or unworthy for spending eternity in God’s Presence. Do you know what it takes? Have you reasoned with God? Have you heard His Counsel? Have you learned His Etiquette?

Here is one such parable that addresses the fact that many are called to come to the King’s Great Marriage Feast, but not all who are called are chosen, for all are not worthy (due to their own ignorance and self centered nature.

In other words, they disqualify themselves from Heaven’s Invitation, due to their own negligence, their own self-infatuation, their own pride, and their own feelings of self-importance, concerned only with their own business, and not concerned much at all about what is going on around them, and especially what is happening in the Kingdom of God.

The overriding message below is clear. Whatever you do, don’t mess up your invitation to the King’s Wedding Banquet.  Prepare yourself and go, like the five wise virgins, and not the five foolish virgins, who were barred from entering into the King’s Marriage Feast in Matthew 25.

Luke 14:12-24 (KJV)
12 Then said he [Jesus] also to him  [the host] that bade him [invited Jesus to dinner], When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid [invite] thee again, and a recompence be made thee [and you get paid back for your good deed]. 13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

15 And when one of them that sat at meat [sat at dinner] with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.

16 Then said he [Jesus] unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade [invited] many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden [invited], Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse.

The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19

And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.

21 So that servant came, and shewed [told or showed] his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt [lame on the feet], and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden [invited] shall taste of my supper.

So you can see, not everyone who is invited will attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (learn more about the consummation of this age in “The Blood Covenant of God“.

Not only that, but not everyone who tries to attend the Wedding Feast will be welcomed.

Matthew 22:11-14 (KJV) 11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: [a Robe of Righteousness] 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? [Revelation 19:7-8] And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

 

Mark this down, Never Forget this Point

This harsh reality (being cast into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth) will be experienced by “many” who presume upon God’s Goodness, but care not for God’s Righteousness. 

We must understand: God’s Goodness is Eternally Married to His Righteousness, the two will never be separated. Therefore, if you want the one you will have to take the other also, or you will be eternally without both.

Only those who divorce themselves from the devil’s life of unrighteousness can be clean and poor and ready to enter the marriage covenant of God.

The Day we stand naked before a Holy God, we will have to give an accurate accounting of all that we did, all that we said, as well as, all the we didn’t do, that He gave us to do, and all that we didn’t say, that He gave us to say. And all must match up to His Righteousness. 

 

We will have to answer the question:

“Did You do the
Will of God for Your Life?”

Did you complete the Mission that your were born to fulfill? Or did you turn your back on God? Did you turn your heart away from His Heavenly Kingdom? Did you choose to serve the ugly ruler of this world over the Ruler of Heaven and Earth?

We will be held accountable: 

Hebrews 9:27 (KJV) 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this [comes] the judgment.

That is why it is so critical, NOW, to sit down and reason together with the LORD. Learn about His Ways. His Goals. His Life. His Power. His Blessings. And His Warnings.

We will have to give an accounting of it all:

Did we use our time, our resources, our gifts, our talents, our wisdom, our abilities, to build up the Kingdom of God?

Or did we use the blessings and giftings we have received from Him (our intelligence, our ability to work, to speak, to influence, to promote) to tear down those who would be seeking God’s Kingdom?  or did we build them up?

Have you spent your time and efforts in this Life to exalt the Son of God and His messengers, or to revile them? Only you can answer that question.

[I know I have done both. Thankfully, I know my sins have been made white as snow. What about yours?]

Did You and your mates despise His Son, and His Message?

Did you consider it unworthy of your time to investigate? Or, did you and your mates test his word to see, if his message was given to save your life?

Have You received and put on God’s Robe of Righteousness?

If we know we have done this, we know that we are golden, and that we are fully prepared to meet with God, and that we can stand before Him Clothed in His Righteousness on the day he judges all mankind before the judgment seat of Christ.

Isaiah 61:10 (KJV) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness …

 

Do you understand
God’s plan and purpose?

Everything He has said and done, every gift and blessing he has poured out always has a specific design and purpose in mind. Even down to every hour of time, every gift of the breath of life, every blessed relationship, and every hour spent with him in prayer, every word that has been spoken by your mouth, and every joyful day done sharing his love with others: All these have been applied to your account in heaven. And if you have done them in wisdom and with heavenly understanding, you will be prepared for the day you meet with God face to face.

We all know, that we are all going to die someday very soon. That is a rock solid fact.

What many have tried hard to ignore for many years of their lives, is the fact that, after we die, we will be required to give an accounting of our lives.

That accounting Willinclude minute details, that will be devastating to us. If we have not chosen his powerful love to transform us from the inside out.

Without his robe of righteousness, we will stand naked before Him.

 

What is blocking you from participating in every heavenly blessing?

To be honest, Nothing stands in your way, except you. You are the only thing that stands in the way of you sitting down with God and REASONING TOGETHER WITH HIM. Though your sins be as scarlet, they will be made white as snow, though they be red as crimson, they will be like wool.

 

• No greater promise has ever been made.
• No greater invitation has ever been presented.
• No greater sacrifice has ever been paid.
• No greater Love has ever been displayed.

 

Yes, you can pass it all by. Yes. You can ignore it, until it is too late.

Yes, you can blame God, BLAME: the Church, the Bible, the Jews, christians, corrupt youth groups, hypocritical church goers, and anyone, or anything else [bad parenting, poor potty training]. YOU CAN BLAME them all for your lack of faith. (I know. I’ve been there too.) We can blame everyone else in the past, for the reason we don’t want to see God now, but in our hearts we know that this is just an excuse, which in real terms means it’s just a lie.) But in the end it all comes down to you.

If you  lack a sincere desire for the Truth, it still comes down to you. It only comes down to you. You only, are the one who stands in the way of blocking your entrance into His Eternal Home.

 

Think on these things and share them with others. It will create a dynamic learning and living experience that will grow and grow and grow, and never grow old. It is a continual challenge and an ongoing puzzle that needs to be solved every day of our lives but in Christ it becomes an exciting and wonderful adventure knowing that he is with you every minute of every hour of every day, and he is cheering you on and excited for every attempt to make at bringing the kingdom of heaven down to earth through your prayers, through your words, so your actions, through your behaviors, so your habits, through your preferences, and most importantly through the spirit of God who lives inside you and is there to guide you.

 

Turn your back on the word of God, and the reasonings of God in your life, and they will die, just like a rose bush or a grape vine left untended. 

 

Finally, we will close with this principle:

A) Not only are the Reasonings of God towards you to remove your sins far from you, but

B)  His plan for your life is that you “bear much Fruit.”

 

 

Bearing much fruit!

God’s Plan for you is not just to be a “forgiven” bump on a log somewhere. He has plans to turn you into an Powerhouse of Truth, Grace, Hope, Victory, Deliverance, Help, Strength, and Love to many of those who are around you. 

How will that ever happen?

Answer: By getting deep into His Reasonings. Then you will become like a tree planted by a river of Living Water. And it will bear its marvelous fruit in every good season. (Psalm 1)

In order to bear much fruit, your vine needs to be attended to with expert care.

In other words, You need to be taught by the Master Himself.

Only He can produce the Fruit of God, that brings Him great joy.

Only He can really teach you about His Kingdom, His Character, His Nature, His Promises, His Blessings, His Inheritance that He has stored up for you. 

No man can truly teach you these things, they can help point you in the right (or wrong) direction, but they really can’t teach these things. You must be birthed in the Spirit of God, in order to enter into the Fellowship of God, and receive the true counsel of God.

Without God’s Spirit teaching, healing, revealing His Kingdom to you, you will become just another religious person walking around, full of the things that men have said, but no closer to the One who Created you, loves you, and wants to wash you clean to be whiter than snow, so that He can fully reveal His Life and HIS WORK to you. Once you reason with God and receive the Holy Spirit, He will become your TEACHER. (1 John 2:26-29)

If no, why not? Do you not want that experience to grow? (It grows when you share it.)

If I desire to be near him, and experiences eternal blessings and his eternal favor, I need to pursue both his goodness and his righteousness. I do that by becoming a doer of his word. It is not a magic formula. It is a daily pursuit, and an exciting adventure, but it is also filled with troubles, heart aches, persecutions, it comes with both physical and verbal abuse at times. But the truth be told, we will experience all kinds of negative things in the world apart from Christ, but we will not have the wisdom of Christ in us as to how to deal with them, if we are not abiding in Christ. So which is better? Troubles because of Christ, or troubles without Christ?

That is something every individual will have to decide for themselves. As for me and my house, we will serve the lord. Or where else can we go to hear the words of life?

Are his goodness and his righteousness worth it?

That’s another question only you can answer for yourself, no one else could possibly answer that question for you.
